This company has skilled intake people. Don't fall for it. After you have an agreement with this company, the lawyers on the other side lack any sort of service skills, have no plans for strategy to help you with your specific tax issues beyond quoting tax laws and codes to you (which you probably already have some idea about), and ultimately they do less than you can do on your own. Personally my experience was that my lawyer talked to me as if he worked on behalf of the tax agency rather than advocating on my behalf to figure out the best way to solve old problems and save money. He sent me an installment agreement to sign without discussing it with me and without trying to find a better solution (which I knew existed but was not offered) to reduce the amount. After two calls on which he was condescending and overbearing, all communication was through an admin or via email and was ****, spotty, and unhelpful. They don't have strategies to actually help. They'll send you government forms you can download on your own. And you're better off doing the research and saving the doing it on your own. Lesson: whatever money you're gonna spend and time (years) you'll waste here, just send it to pay down what you owe while you negotiate to show good faith and figure out ways to reduce your tax bills in the future. US Tax Shield does exactly the opposite of their company name and left me in a much worse spot in terms of amount owed and liability -- this after paying them a lot of money. They don't want to guarantee anything but they should really give me money back for what they cost me in the end. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would.

It has been 9 years since we first contacted US Tax Shield. 9 years. We have paid them about $10k. Our taxes were tied to a family business. That business closed in 2015. There is still no resolution. 9 years later. The most recent advice from them was to "wait it out". The debt will eventually fall off. I could have done that on my own. This company is awful. Do not waste your money.

I HAVE GONE ON THE INTERNET AND I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IS PROTECTING THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY PAY INTO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I BELIEVE IT IS CALLED POLITICAL REASONS. WHEN SEEING ON THE INTERNET ALL OF THESE COMPLAINTS, IT IS HARD FOR ME TO BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE NOT FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, WHICH WILL DO EVENTUALLY AFTER THEY ARE AUDITED AND INVESTIGATED BY THE *** AND CONSUMER AFFA***

No I have not received any documents that you said you sent, plus, my I never received a message from your office, other than a telephone call from the sales person that sold Jimmie your services by the name of Kevin Fox and what a talker. This is my third attempt for you to forward to either Jimmie Andrew Armstrong or myself copies of all documents in your file relating to Jimmie Andrew Armstrong, along with the refund all monies you received from Jimmie, which I believe is around $8,100.00. As I told you previously, because of the incompetence of your IRS filings, we have had to have 2 years amended because of your failure to attach Schedule "C"'s. Your response will also be forwarded the San Jose office of the Better Business Bureau, also social media is also available.

BBB office, I cannot believe that you do not go on social medial and see all of the complaints about this company, US Tax Shield, even from ex employees, who have no reason to "LIE"!
