I live very near this convenience store and have had an issue- with the employees- every time I have been there. The most recent incident- I stopped by via uber Friday, March 8 around 9:40 PM. The open sign was ablaze, the door was unclocked, and there were other customers in the store, as well as a large crowd of people gathered around the front doors- drinking and smoking marijuana, all within 10 feet of the doors. I recognized at least 2 of them as employees from my previous visits to the location- wearing plain cothes. Upon walking in, the woman behind the counter- who was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt- muttered something inaudible in my direction. When I replied "I'm sorry, what?" She shouted "WE CLOSED!" I proceeded to suggest that she turn off the open sign, and lock the door. She then said "White boy better quit playin or imma spray him!" Though completely unsure of what she meant by that I replied "Go ahead. Spray me! This is a worthless excuse for a business!" She replied "GET OUT OR IMMA SPRAY YOU, WHITE F***** BOY!" While walking out the door, I flipped the woman off, as I had felt extremely offended and subject to racism. As I was walking toward my uber, A different woman- one from the crowd gathered outside- started shouting "WHITE BOY BETTER CUT IT OUT!" She began rousing her group, and the woman from behind the counter joined them at the door as the woman from the crowd began chasing me toward my car shouting, "FUCKING WHITE FAGGOT!" as I got into my uber, which fortunately was able to back out and leave before the crowd had a chance to gather around to block us in.-It is notable that ****** shows the business is open 24 hours.-In a previous incident, I walked in and heard the employee shouting, "SPEAK ENGLISH OR GET OUT!" I offered to the man to translate for him, and told the employee his message: "$15 on pump 4, please." As I grabbed my soda, I heard the employee say "White boy thinks he can walk in a tell me what to do." I then walked out.
