In June 2023, I hired Green Light Construction to complete several home improvement projects, including a kitchen backsplash and finishes, and two full bathroom remodels. The company has failed to meet basic professional standards and has not followed through on multiple promises to address serious workmanship and cleanliness issues.During the kitchen demolition, a large amount of dust and debris covered our furniture and living areas. The contractor assured us a professional cleaner would be sentthis never happened. Materials were left stuck to our front walkway, and the exterior of our living room window was splattered with debris. Despite promises to power wash and clean the area, no such work was performed. By 11/23, the company considered the job complete. However, during our walkthrough, we identified numerous quality issues, including: Poorly finished kitchen tile edges and grout stains on white cabinetry, grout residue left on countertops, uneven, dirty toe kicks, unfinished holes left in cabinet bases, peeling ceiling paint where protective plastic had been removed, clicking floor tiles and additional defects in both bathrooms. The contractor assured us these issues would be addressed, but no corrective work was done. Matters escalated when we discovered water seeping into the hallway bathroom tile. We contacted the company several times and received no response until 2/2024. On 6/4/25, workers were sent to repair the hallway bathroom tile. They completed the job on 6/19/25. However, by 6/24/25, we observed that the floor remained soft and unstable. We reached out again on 7/2/25, and as of today (7/7/25), we have received no response. We are seeking a resolution that includes the completion of all work to a professional standard, including proper repair of the hallway bathroom tile and correction of the previously documented issues. We are deeply concerned that Green Light Construction is unwilling or unable to fulfill their contractual obligations.

I hired this company probably 3 years ago to do some need improvements to my property, roof, windows and new ac heating system.1. The system they install is not what they promised me they could install we wanted a two zone that work both upstairs and downstairs separately with two different thermostat's they stated they could do that. It did not work right they hired another company to come and fix the issues and the system still does not work right air blows through the whole house when the system is on and less on the lower part of the house now. The new company they hired stated they would have had the system in the house run the downstairs and place a mini-split upstairs to take care of that level because of the way the house is made.2. They also install new windows through out the house in the one in the dinning room I just noticed this morning is leaking water. This needs to be repaired asap before it cause a lot of damage. I reached out to them today but, no response as to who the contractor is for us to call to get this repaired.

I made notes and signed a contract for services that was reflected in our conversation about the specifics of the project. Detailed notes were taken at the time of the contract specifics of the project that was agreed to between the parties and paid for.

The contractor requested and demanded payment payment prior to the completion of the job and while there were outstanding disputes about the work which was paid to them in good faith.

Green Light Construction did not complete the job they were paid in full to complete. In addition, their heavy equipment damaged various areas of our existing landscaping.

When I communicated with Green Light Construction about completing the job and repairing the damage done to my existing landscape the owner in response began talking about me paying him additional money for work that was a part of the work he was already paid in full. The owner simply made up things to counter the costs of the work he was being asked to complete.

All communications with the owner of Green Light Construction ended when his bartering for additional money was denied.

I would like for the contractor to either complete the job they were paid to do as noted in the contract and meeting notes and restore damage done to existing landscaping or reimburse me some of the funds I paid them so I can hire a contractor to complete the job.

In fact, I would really like to be reimbursed some of the funds I paid them so I can have another contractor complete the job and restore my property.

I would agree to an independent Claims Adjuster visiting my home and assessing the remaining work and damage done to my existing landscape to ascertain the cost reimbursement.
