    Hi,

Do you recall the subject of the study? I looked back through the recruiters recent studies and did not find you. I'm not saying you aren't there, I just don't know where to look.

The recruiter hasn't gotten back to you because she had a hip replacement last Friday. However, she should have turned it over to customer service. I'm sorry this has happened. I assure you we always pay our participants. As soon as we know the topic, we'll be able to find the study and will pay you immediately.

    Sincerely yours,

    *****

    Customer Answer

Hello. I filed my initial complaint with you in December 2024 regarding a bread study I was not compensated for. The owner, Ms. ***** ******** promptly responding saying she wasn't aware of my non-payment and would send after holidays and requested removal of complaint. Almost eight weeks later, still no payment. I think the BBB should not remove complaints based on companies statements. Confirmation should be provided before a complaint is removed, in my opinion. You already have all my previous emails going back and forth with Ms. ***** in November 2024 regarding the September 2024 bread study. I don't think that it takes over five months to pay participants. My time is important as well as my participation. I emailed Ms. ******** again prior to writing this...no response. Now you know about this company.

    Hello,

I haven't responded because I underwent intensive emergency surgery and am just now returning to work.

This is complicated by our company structure and I apologize profusely.

***** ***** is our customer service manager. She doesn't make payments, nor do I. Neither of us have access to checks, only our accountant does and we're a virtual company. I did instruct the accountant to cancel and resend the check. I am now investigating what happened and will report back shortly.

I am rejecting this response because:I did complete the whole research in full and have not been paid for my time and efforts.I was asked for my address in order for the incentive to be sent out which never happened. If they had any questions or concerns regarding my identity they should have told me that from the very beginning when they recruited me or at the very first days of the project since it lasted 2 weeks.I keep all the correspondence and reached out to them several times asking for my compensation and they assured me that it was on its way. Ill be taking them to court if I dont receive my payment to resolve the issue.

    Sincerely,

*** has already sent the same complaint to our ************ and we have provided the reasons she hasn't been paid. Our client, *********** Group, is entirely responsible for making this payment. Via our client instructions, we were told that she was being excluded from the study results because the plaintiff is a known scammer.

I contacted our client today in regards to the issue and here is the response we got, once again verifying that *** will not be paid and why.

    Hi *****,

I am sorry to hear that you have had so many participants reach out with frustrations.

We typically pay out participants once the project is closed and they can expect to receive their payment within 4-6 weeks.

I have reached out to my accounting department asking for an update, as this was closed out at the end of December. Additionally, end of the year and holidays would have potentially affected potential delays.

Our client *********** Group is and can confirm. They canceled *** after completing the study because she is a fraudster. *********** already informed *** about this in writing. I wrote to the client today to confirm this is the case and here is the response:

Hi *****, Regarding ***, we can and are happy to provide documentation that shows she is a fraud. As our evidence shows, she poses under multiple aliases, and therefore we are unable to verify that she is who she says she is and that she can provide accurate information for the research, and that is why we decided not to pay her and to DNR her under the name she used for this study.

Please let us know if you are available/interested in scheduling a call to go over any other concerns you have or to get additional clarification.

I have requested that *********** Group submit the proof they say they have about the participant using aliases and being a phony.

What the plaintiff seems to not understand is that *****/******** is a supplier for *********** Group. We were directed to ask for her address. We were informed of her phony status on December 14th 2022 via email. We were not allowed to invoice for her recruitment. We were informed that they would not pay her and that they had told her that. All contact made between H/S and *** was directed by ***********. As we are essentially ************* contract 'employee' there is no other choice, we took them at their word. We haven't received incentive funds - they pay their own incentives.

This argument needs to be made to the Payor, not to H/************************** Group is in charge. I will be posting whatever proof is sent regarding ***. However, I disagree with how they handled this matter as they allowed her to complete a two-week study without mentioning the disqualification to her or to us. I'll be happy to provide the contact information for the *********** employees that made the decision. I have actively tried to resolve this by discussing the incentive situation several times.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Sincerely,

*************** Thats exactly my whole point. Why do you gather information and insights  for the whole duration of the study and even schedule me for the follow up interview for additional $150 totaling $600  and dont pay me anything at the end?! It seems like youre just a number to them and they would call and contact you while they need you but when they have all the information gathered from you and youre no longer needed you become a fraud . This is just so wrong to fight over something that I completed entirely..
