About a year ago, I was on Go overseas website and I saw a job listing from Polyglot ******* and i sent them over 22K Euros thinking they were a legit language school hiring. Then after 3 months, Go overseas sent out an email about Polyglot ******* being Fraud and they were basically sorry about the people who sent them money. I responded to their email as I trusted their website for all job listings and they did not even offer to help me and just left it like it was not their fault at all. As the website owner, it was their job to track the people listing the jobs on their website so nothing would happen like this. I had to sell our only house and not to go jail because of the loans I took from banks thinking I would be a teacher in ***** and they ruined my life. I cannot believe the website did not take any steps to help me at all.

    Hi zgr,

Thank you for sending us a message about this incredibly unfortunate situation and we're very sorry to hear that it has continued to cause you stress over the last year. I do remember investigating this matter a year ago and speaking for our entire team, it really breaks our hearts to hear that individuals would post false information online. As a company, we do everything we can within the scope of our responsibilities and legal rights to help identify fraudulent information, remove untrustworthy content, and alert our community members if we suspect any disingenuous organizations, which is exactly what we did a year ago with this situation.

However, as a community-centered resource for meaningful travel, it's important to clarify that we serve as an aggregator of information about program opportunities, but do not verify every organization firsthand, like the Better Business Bureau does. Instead, we invite our community members to leave verified reviews about each organization, which helps provide social proof and useful tips to help other travels make informed decisions. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly at [email protected] if you have any further questions, concerns, or comments for us. We always appreciate the opportunity to hear from our community members and to learn more about what we can do to better serve you.

    Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: They are still not even offering to help in any way with compensation. It took them 3 months to realize Polyglot Perugia was a scam on their website after many people got scammed. I trusted the website and I got scammed with my everything i had. I had to sell my only house to cover all the debts from banks i had taken thinking I would be a teacher in Polyglot Perugia abd selling my house was not even enough to cover the debts, I am still drowning with all the debts. This is not acceptable. It is the website job to control every listing even before they register on the website for job listings with a ***************** For whole this year, I tried getting an answer how could this happen and I tried to live with the biggest lost of my life. So please, do your best as I am not sure how you could sleep peacefully after knowing someones' lives ruined becuase of your website just because we trusted to use it.

    Sincerely,

    zgr ******
