I hired the company Active Pest Control in January 2023. I was promised by the salesperson ****** that they would seal my home and kill any remaining rats, and that I'd have a full one year warranty of no rats for $1,575.00. They did not seal all of the holes and certain openings that they did seal, they left gaps large enough for rats to pass through. I had a one year warranty and they continued to come back to mitigate the rat infestation week after week, but the rats continued to return. I have been speaking with a supervisor named *** that I had an appointmen with today, 05/28/2024, in which he was to inspect all of the gaps and improper work ******'s team had done. *** was a no show and no call for our appointment for him to repair the work that had led to my garage being infested with rats again. Our contract was that they would seal my house and they did not. I gave their supervisor *** a chance to make it right and he stood me up for our appointment. This company is working on my mom's house and she is still dealing with a rodent infestation. I don't believe this company held up their end of our contract. I have recorded video of rats simply squeezing through my door, the siding of my home, out from behind my laundry. Rats are everywhere and I paid Active Pest Control a fortune for this not to be the case. I don't have hope they'll correct the work they had improperly did. I began filling the holes left by Active Pest Control myself with canned rodent repellent foam.

    Hello ******************,

We understand your frustration with the service and have actively made it a priority to resolve those issues.  First and foremost, we want to address that as a company, we by no means intended to purposely miss your appt. The appointment schedule was miscommunicated.  Had we received a call we would have dispatched our supervisor same day.  We offer a full year warranty on our workmanship.  If for any reason we failed to stop rodents, we return within that year at no charge.  We did keep our end of the arrangement and did not stop work on your home.  Even after the warranty was over, we had extended your warranty in hopes to solve the problem.  The area underneath the siding of your home was not visible or discovered at the time of our inspections and service requests.  That was only discovered after your night vision videos.  In regard to under the door gaps, anything under 1/2 inch would be too small for rodent entry.  That *** have been the reason a door sweep was not placed.  If it was too big, then we would make sure to place a door sweep.  We received images of other openings you believe were missed.  We are unable to determine if those openings are big enough for rodents to enter.  We would have liked to make a final visit to address those concerns but understand you have decided not to have us step foot on your property.  We are actively working at your mother's home, but we believe the results are positive.  I am sorry but we do not offer any types of refunds because you paid for a service, and we did return each and every time a request was made to attempt to resolve the issue.  We are a service-based industry and have a provided a service.  If the service was not satisfactory, we return until it is satisfactory.  Thank you.
