On 3/16/24, we enrolled 6 month Yorkie puppy into a 1 month Behavioral Modification Course. The contact with us as clients was minimal. **** promised to send videos of puppy's progress and we received none. The outcome - our dog came home in the same behavior as before we enrolled her. Lost 2 lbs which is a lot for a 5lb dog. Had fleas, giardia and was sickly. A $600 vet bill. Their contract states that if we are not satisfied we are entitled to 25% of the cost of the course. They said in order to receive our refund we'd have to submit a non descosure statment which we foolishly did. Then they disapppeared. I've been writing them daily asking for our refund. In fact, we believe that we are due the entire course fee of $1750 plus vet bills based on the fact that they are ignoring us. By the way, the trainer claimed that it was the dog's issue that she didnt improve, not the trainer. Leaving us to feel discouraged and then rehoming her based on their opinion. This puppy might have still been ours if we had taken her to a reputable training place. Since then we've tried to get our money back and now we are seeing that they are scammers taking ADVANTAGE OF SENIORS. RECOURSE I have attempted to report this business by filing it Small Claims Court. They provide a form and ask owner to send it return mail. We did so, and the letter bounced back to us because apparently there is NO address. Phone number on website is the same as the Trainer's Ph #. We believe that there is no K9 Alliance, that its the same person training dogs out of his home. Our hearts are broken, its cost me a great deal of stress in my old age. I trusted this company and its appearing that they are scammers. From what we've heard, this company is non legit. There is no address of training facility, there is no home office customer service other that JR ******* who doesnt have a phone number. NOTE TRAINER ***************************** SERVICE JR ******** CLAIM TO BE DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I suspect fraud.Initial Complaint

Im deeply disappointed with the dog training company I entrusted my beloved dog to. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a series of concerning issues that surfaced during and after their care:Physical Injuries: After the training sessions, my dog had visible scratches on her head, extending down to her eyes. This was alarming and clearly indicated improper handling. Additionally, her back right toes became unusually sensitive, which suggests possible rough or careless treatment.Behavioral Changes: My usually vocal dog became uncharacteristically silent, which is a major red flag. She also exhibited signs of distress during sleep, including running, kicking, and barking, indicating that shes likely experiencing nightmares or extreme discomfort.Health Issues: My dog began to suffer from a urinary tract infection, evidenced by frequent, urgent needs to pee and a swollen v***** Her overall health seemed to decline rapidly; she developed a dry nose, runny and goopy eyes, and her eyes became bloodshot. Moreover, shes been scratching incessantly, leading to 16 pus-filled welts that she can't stop irritating.Physical Condition: Her coat is in terrible shape, with four brown, dry patches where hair no longer grows. She also has been rubbing her nose against rough surfaces like her dog bed in an attempt to scratch it, indicating severe discomfort. Despite multiple baths, she still reeks of urine.General Well-being: Her general condition has deteriorated. Shes bone skinny, with a constantly growling belly, and she seems sickly overall.I paid for several vet ******************** to get her *********** healthy again. And it took me weeks to get her back up to.a healthy weight. I expected professional care and training, but instead, my dog has been left in a worse state than before. The lack of empathy and professionalism is appalling. I urge others to be cautious and consider alternative options before choosing this company.Initial Complaint

I called ***************************, K9Alliance regarding training my dog. One of the first things I asked was do you have a facility in **************** and he said they did on ***********. We had several more conversations, and I decided to send my dog for board and train. On the day my dog was to go to the facility, ****** said their facility wasnt on *********** and sent me an address which was a shopping center. As the time came closer to meet, ****** texted that I Could not go to the facility and he would meet me half way. I was immediately concerned that I was being conned and told him I couldnt proceed and cancelled. ****** knew from day one that a physical facility needed to exist for me to send my dog. I have emailed K9Alliance and their initial response was to offer a 25% refund if I agreed to sign a NDA. I was deceived from the start. ****** described large kennels and treadmills my dog would be using but I can find no evidence now that such a facility ever existed.Business Response

******************************* contacted us with interest in a board and train contract for her dog **** who has issues with dog aggression. We then discussed program options and she decided on board and train. We went into depth on how our programs operate and in phone conversation, it was stated multiple times that the dogs stay with their assigned trainer in a home environment, with dog training materials that ****** notated in her complaint. It was also explained that the dog is trained in multiple areas for the purpose of socialization training. Dogs do not stay in a facility during a board and train. She clearly understood and agreed to the terms of training and signed her contract on October 2nd. After signing her contract, she became concerned about being defrauded and wanted drivers licenses of employees, home addresses, and client references. We agreed on client references, first and last names, phone numbers, and location of where her dog would be housed during the board and train. We did not give drivers licenses as it is against our policy due to safety and privacy concerns for our employees. After ****** confirmed through client reference, she agreed to proceed with contract, we even agreed to allow her to have a GPS tracker on her dog to allow her to view his location at all times.Upon day of pickup, in communication with her, ****** requested that the best exchange location would be a facility. This was agreed to based on facility availability although because her dog is dog aggressive, it was not in the best interest to exchange her dog where other clients dogs would be with their trainers due to concern for safety. Location was changed due to this and it was offered to exchange her dog at an agreed upon location or at the comfort of her own home. She then cancelled and said without viewing where her dog would stay in the facility that she did not feel comfortable. She was informed on multiple occasions that her dog would not be staying at a facility because there is not 24 hour care there and that is why we provided a home address where the dog would be staying during training duration. After multiple attempts to appease ******* concerns prior to exchanging Zeus, she decided to cancel on the day of pickup. According to our contract, due to her request being day of commencement of services, she may receive a 25% refund if she agrees to terms of refund, such as signing an NDA. She was not happy with this and has been trying to negotiate terms of refund. Referencing our refund policy, there was no breach of contract.Regards,*************************;Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
Rather than continue a dialogue of "he said, she said". This can be solved very easily. ****************** refers to the "facility" that exists in ************.. My objection for the start was not being provided the physical address of that facility. Its not in the contract, but an address was sent to me in a text message but when I went to that address, no such K9 training facility existed. So, If ****************** can provide that address of his business / facility, we can all decide how to proceed.
I was very clear in all conversation that the K9Ultimate training had to have a physical location in ************, and ****************** said one existed. ****************** was deceptive from the start. it may not constitute a breach of contract, but it surely crosses the line of ethical and honest business practices.
I knew my dog would not be spending nights in the facility, and ****************** refers to the facility not being manned 24 hours, but let him provide the address of any ************ facility to prove it exists.
here is the conversation I had with ****************** on the day I was to bring my dog to the facility:
1775 E palm canyon
************.

IHey ******,
Just almost done with my last appointment of the day. Unfortunately Our trainer has a ****** that will be going over a bit its an anxiety dog case. So wanted to ask if we could meet mid ways or I am able to come over to your home if convenient. I do apologize for the inconvenience of changing location.
******
I am very sorry but unless I see your facility and know one exists, I cannot give Zeus to you.
Maybe best to return my payment and call it a day
I completely understand, and Im currently still on my way to ************ from my private ******. Ive sent over the address, however I am unable to interrupt a current ****** at our facility sight."*******************************
