      They contacted me that there were unclaimed funds they could recover on my behalf. I submitted the forms they required and after several months I received a check.

      Received a letter from Payne **************************** saying that I had unclaimed property that they would help retrieve. I was already aware of the unclaimed property and after finding the documents that I needed I went to the ***** Official Unclaimed Property site and went through the process of claiming the money on my own. After receiving the money, I get a bill for PR&A saying I owe them 10% AND they sent it to collections. They did not do anything to help with my claim. I collected all documents, filled out everything and uploaded it. This is a shady business indeed.

      This company has repeatedly requested information from me on unclaimed property. When I try to call the phone number indicated in the letter, the number does not go through, and emails produce a response to call them. This seems to be a scam business to me, though I'm surprised that the BBB suggests it is legitimate. Someone should look into their business practices and the legitimacy of this business.

      The associates of Payne Richards were very professional and knowledgeable in answering all of my questions; that led me to trust them more with time, as I am old school and can be skeptical or wary of scams. That in itself, and my waiting it out to see what happens next in their timeline, brought about a certain level of confidence in their research (and mine through prayer) and ability to accomplish what they said. I appreciate the respect they showed as well....and the unexpected $$$ wasn't bad either.
