Approximately March 8th 2025, I contacted Aamco. Transmissions, on ************ and ask what it would cost to rebuild my transmission. The initial estimate was $3600.I agreed. Then he told me I need to pay $850 for tear down and reinstall. That means take my transmission out. Take it apart, inspect it and tell me exactly what it would cost to rebuild it. I agreed a couple days later. Aamco called me and said, "There's a new estimate you need to approve before work can continue, or they'll put my transmission back in.The new estimate, $4684.02. I asked why it was so much more, he said I was lucky to get as far as I did on my transmission. I already won the race by getting that many miles. My transmission is destroyed and needs rebuilt. I agreed and he told me they'd be done in a few days. A few days later, they called said, "you have to buy a new battery so we can program the computer." I took them a new battery, a few hours later, they called and said, "everything's done. Pay the amount and we're good." I paid the $4684.02 drove it home. Everything fine. Two weeks later we lost reverse. My car has no reverse. It barely moves in reverse. So I started looking at my transmission. Its completely dirty. All the mounting bolts have never been touched. The only thing that's been done is the PAN was taken off the bottom They never removed my transmission. They never rebuilt my transmission. And they charged me for all these new parts that they didn't put in, they never took the transmission out of the car, how can you rebuild a transmission without taking it out of the car? I paid for it to be taken out of the car and checked out. It was never done i believe Aamco, transmissions committed fraud by saying they rebuilt my transmission when they never even removed it from the car.

Mr. Sessions transmission was absolutely removed and rebuilt, and reinstalled. If he is having problems with reverse, he has a 3 year/50,000 mile warranty that covers all parts that were replaced including labor. Aamco has not been given the chance to address any complaints he may have, and would be happy to fix any issues covered by his warranty. He can drop off the vehicle anytime, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

    Thank you,

i don't accept their response or effort to resolve this situation. Because I do not trust them. I can't let them touch it until it has been looked at by another professional them touching it. It would destroy my evidence that they never took put the transmission out of the car. Untouched bolts, mounting boats bell housing boats, electrical connections,  hoses and transaxials. These things have never been touched, and there are no Fingerprints on them or toolmarks. And the transmission has never been cleaned. I know to remove the transmission. You have to drop the subframe from the bottom and those bolts. Have never been touched.
I have quite a bit of experience working on vehicles. I am not a mechanic, but I do know what I'm looking at. And that transmission has not been removed from the car. It's totally obvious that they only took the PAN off, replaced, or fixed something. And charged me for a total rebuild that they did not do. The only resolution I can see it is a full and complete immediate refund.
    To the amount of $4,682.02

We cannot consider any reimbursement without being able to inspect and test drive the vehicle to verify any operational issues and be given an opportunity to fix under warranty any problems resulting from our work(3 year/50k mile warranty) , the owner can come with the vehicle and watch anything we do during the inspection and we can note what he is talking about. There is no way we would charge for a transmission rebuild and not remove the Transmission and perform a complete overhaul. This can easily be verified.

Please bring a third party for the inspection if it would make you feel more comfortable

    Thank You, Aamco

I will not let aamco touch it until it has been inspected by another shop. Aamco wants me to bring it to them to inspect and or fix the transmission. The problem is the evidence is untouched bolts, electrical connections that wer never unplugged, dirty transmission never cleaed, and no Fingerprints or hand prints on parts and components that would obviously have to be touched to remove a transmission. They charged me for a rebuild that they did not perform. If they keep denying it, I will retain a lawyer and get other agencies involved and take this to court were I will seek attorney fees and personal damages for time, stress, and loss of work, and monies spent on other forms of transportation we have to depend on because aamco thought I was a fool and could make easy money off me and my family

I can provide pictures or video if needed but I will not allow them to destroy my evidence.
