    I purchased a billet valve cover, catch can, and pressure relief valve from Vargas Turbo Technologies for my 2016 *** M4, spending over $2,000 in total. These parts were marketed as performance upgrades designed to improve the reliability of the factory PCV system. After professional installation, I immediately experienced the following issues:Persistent squealing at idle (the original issue remained unresolved),Excessive oil consumption (required topping up twice in a single day),A misfire that occurred shortly after installation during normal driving.I verified that my engine was in excellent condition prior to this installation (cylinder walls and piston rings intact), and a smoke test confirmed there were no vacuum leaks meaning the issues clearly stemmed from the Vargas setup.When I reached out to the company for support, I was met with ******* and hostility. I did not receive any assistance, troubleshooting support, or resolution. I have since removed the parts, sold them at a loss, and returned to the *** setup to resolve the issues caused by Vargas products.Desired resolution: Public acknowledgment of product issues and a formal apology for the unprofessional conduct and lack of support

    Complaint Against: Vargas Turbo Technologies Order Number: #***** Date of Purchase: October 28, 2023 Issue Type: Non-Delivery of ************** of Refund Complaint Details:On October 28, 2023, I placed an order with Vargas Turbo Technologies and was informed that I would receive the item within 30 to 90 days. After the estimated delivery period passed, I contacted the company multiple times for updates, but they only responded with vague assurances that the item would be shipped soon.On November 19, 2024, the company confirmed that they would process a refund. They later requested that I complete a refund form, which I submitted on December 13, 2024. Despite this, I have not received my refund, and my follow-up emails have gone ************* of today, more than a year has passed since my purchase, and I still have not received the product or my money back. This lack of response and failure to honor a refund commitment is unacceptable. I am requesting that Vargas Turbo Technologies immediately issue my refund to the original payment method.Desired Outcome:I expect a full refund to my original payment method as soon as possible.

    I purchased a product from their website but their descriptions and details outlined in the website were vague and misleading. When I received the product, it was not what I was expecting. I contacted the company to return the product then reorder the product I expected to receive but I was told I would have to pay a restocking fee. The description on the website and the images for the product indicated that I should receive the whole product and not half of it. I paid $2,014.38 for a turbocharger for my car. The turbo did not come with an exhaust manifold even though the images on the site the product is listed on showed an exhaust manifold paired with the product. The description did not clearly state the differences in the selection menu for a GC turbo vs a GC+ turbo. There was no indication that the exhaust manifold would not be included. When I contacted the company, I got difficult and confrontational responses. I want a full refund and not a partial refund, if not a refund then a full itemized receipt with line items for the restocking fee I was charged.

    It would seem that the customer wants to blame ** for not reading the product description. We clearly state in the description that the unit he ordered does not come with a manifold, but that has nothing to do with this the restocking fee. The reaosn for returning the product doesnt matter. Anytime you returen a product, you will be charged a restocking fee which is also outlined in our return policy. This is a classic case of a customer reading nothing, then getting upset when something is not what he thought because he didn't read the product description or the return policy. We have added this person to a do not sell list, and have no interested in retaining him as a customer.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I expect to receive a full refund OR an itemized receipt for any fees, including any charges for restocking fees and services. The company received their product back in new condition and still the owner acts belligerently. The company misleads consumers with vague descriptions of their products and then blames the consumer if a product ordered was not what the consumer expected. They need to do better.

    Received a charge pipe that is defective and does not fit my vehicle. ****** refuses to acknowledge and issue a full refund

    We cant do anything without an order number. Just a random complaint about a charge pipe when we sell hundreds of them a month. Also, that busines this was filed against is NOT us, we have moved locationsd, and are new business, everything you have on your site needs to be udpated.

     

    Again without an order number we have no idea even who this customer is. Good chance they were already refunded

    -on October 15 I placed an order through their website: https://vargasturbo.com/-on October 21 I emailed them that I wish to cancel this order (order 17472)-on October 22 I received the following email : "These shipped yestrday sir, if you wish to cancel now, we would have to call them back. We can refund minus the shipping charge, 20% restocking, and the cost of callng the package back which is usually about $25, let us know if you want to do that"-based on this information that was provided to me I made the decision to not continue with the cancellation and just ask for a tracking number -on October 24 I received an email that the item was shipped this same day (October 24) with the tracking number of said package -this leads me to believe I met the conditions of cancellation per their terms at the time of my request and I do not understand why they had to keep $25 to call the package back and keep the shipping charge since shipping had not happened yet -I made the decision to not continue with the cancellation based on inaccurate information and I believe this is unfair

    This complaint is a year old, and makes no sense. I do not even understand what the customer is complaining about. That is the problem with review sites like that, anyone can complain about anything valid or not
