The locksmith didn't know how to pick the lock and proceeded to damage my property without any warning or asking if this was acceptable. He then downplayed the damage saying it was no big deal and could be fixed cheaply and easily, but he wasn't going to fix the damage. It is not true it can be fixed cheapy and easily, he damaged the wood and paint of the door frame and cut out a chunk of weather stripping so that entire side of weather stripping now has to be replaced. He also tried to charge me more than he quoted on the phone. He finally agreed to the higher amount of the range I thought he quoted, which was still within the range he quoted, though he was trying to charge me the highest amount possible and would not take off for damages. He can't possibly be a licensed locksmith, he seemed to have no training, except in how to damage a house in order to break into it. I paid by ***** so I can't dispute the transaction. He told me credit card would cost a 10% fee. I called the business to complain and they said a supervisor would call me back, but no one did. So I called again and they put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called again and it seemed they blocked my number and won't answer my calls. This is a scam business.

Today, October 5th, I called "Locksmith Services" at this address for help getting into my home after my front door auto locked on me. They said someone would call with an estimate for services. Someone did call but only to give an estimate of time. When he got there, there was a language barrier. He started working on the front door and using a translation app quoted me $325 plus 40 plus 70 to unlock the door. I was desperate and didn't know better so I said yes. The final bill was $585 after he got in. This is 5x more than the average rate I've learned, and it is well over what was quoted via the translation app. I feel ripped off and definitely like a fool for calling this service. It shouldn't have been more than $100 let alone the extra cost after the quote.

On August 7, 2023, I contacted the company to ask about obtaining a replacement key for my car due to misplacing mine. During the call, I inquired about the cost, but the technician told me he could only give me a price in person. Consequently, I provided the technician with my address and scheduled a visit.Upon the technician's arrival, he assured me that my car would be equipped with a chip. At the time, being an elderly individual, I assumed this meant I would receive a fob. However, I soon discovered that this was not the case once the service was completed. The technician then demanded a payment of $302 in cash, which I promptly provided.Subsequently, upon reflecting on the incident, I realized that I did not receive a receipt for the transaction and that I had been charged an exorbitant amount higher than what other companies typically charge for a regular car key (which ranges between $170 and $190). In order to address these concerns, I contacted the company in an attempt to obtain a copy of the receipt (the technician had refused to give me one when he came to my residence). Unfortunately, my calls were repeatedly ended by the receptionist, who declined to share her name or that of her manager. I never received a call back.

I spoke to the customer that same day and sent her the receipt, she confirmed receipt of it it was in her spam box.  she received it on 8/7/23.  the customer was not on site when the technician arrived to complete the work but her mother was there as well as another young adult.  he went over pricing and different key types before proceeding with the work.  Her mother who was there did not agree to the more expensive key FOB but preferred the regular key which also had a chip in it.  they were satisfied with the work and agreed on the price before the work had begun.  only after everything was done the customer came home and was not satisfied with her mother and Childs decisions and called us to complain and told us she filed a complaint with the BBB.  i spoke to her again today and she is satisfied with our customer service and we are sending another technician out to program a key fob for her and she is happy and grateful.

I am rejecting this response because: I was not given what I ordered. Her reply is incorrect as I was NEVER ok with the key. Sorry to say I am far from grateful with anyone in this company.  I ordered the key with a fob built in not a separate fob. The technician assured me it was the key with a chip in it.. When he gave me a regular key for $302 I was shocked! The woman I spoke with said she would send another person out to remake the correct key. I received a call a couple days later and the technician wanted me to drive 30 minutes away to meet him. I said no! He then said he would call back in a day or two to set up a time for him to make the key when he could come to the house.. He never has called and my house is secured with cameras and I know he has not been back. At this point I do not want them back here because now they both have lied and I cannot trust them.  I would just like a refund. I am tired of dealing with this company.

In response to her message, we have been trying to coordinate a time to meet her to make her that new FOB free of charge and we have not been able to coordinate a mutual time that works best for the customer and the technician.  As we are coming to make her the fob when we are in the area since we are providing it for her at no cost.  we did make her a key that does have a chip in it but it is a regular key an not a fob because the customers tht were on site when she requested the service did not agree to the price of the fob and only to the price of a regular key that too has a chip in it.  we are still trying to coordinate to meet with her to make her that fob for free since she wasnt on site when the work was done and it seems per the customer that there was a misunderstanding so we are trying to alleviate the situation and provide her that fob free of charge.  her key that we made her works and was paid for by the customers representative that was on site who agreed to the  price before we even started the job.  we always give information up front and prices before we start the work.
