Hotel called while we were en route, problem with the lock on the room I specifically reserved. This is important because... Hotel asked ME if I would be ok with a metal key or they could give me a different room with a pull out couch. I told the person on the phone that I would be fine with the metal key because it was really important to me to have a working jacuzzi and I didn't want a pull out couch.. Upon arrival at the hotel I was told that there was a problem still and that the offer that they had made to me for a metal key was no longer an option and that I would have to take a King suite with a pull-out couch. I'm old I ain't sleeping on nobody's pull out couch thank you very much. I kept asking if certain rooms were available trying to avoid a night on a pull out couch, obviously I've been a guest there before many times. In the end I agreed to the pull out, but my yes ma'am was too rude for the desk clerk who had no name tag and I didn't ask, so she asked me to leave, I refused. I asked for the manager, **, I thought I knew the guy. I was talking toanother guest who not only witnessed the event but was experiencing problems and I was telling her that some rooms are lovely, the property is older but some rooms have less wear, the pool is incredible, you just have to get the right room. And I said this "honestly I had no idea why this place has a two and a half star rating online until now I've never been treated so shabbly in my whole life". That's when the manager ** asked me to leave. Because he didn't like my conversation with someone else. I stand by that statement I literally had no idea why they had a two and a half star rating but I definitely do now. **** I'm sorry bro I will never be back It was good knowing you. ** maybe you should really consider your attitude, you set tone. I don't wish you ill, I wish you an epiphany. Your literal job is to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. Especially travelers who regularly choose to stop there.
