Hello. In May, Reborn installed a bath and shower, but failed to complete the project. When the employee was done, he told us to sign that he completed the work, explaining someone would be contacting me to complete the project. After two weeks of not hearing anything, I made several attempts to contact someone to help. I contacted the salesman to get assistance and he confirmed the project was not complete after viewing photos sent via text messages. The salesman was receptive to my complaints and provided me with phone numbers. I called the numbers and was unable to speak with someone. I called customer service; however, they would just say theyre going to open a trouble ticket, but no resolution to date. In June, I was finally able to speak with a project manager. After explaining the several deficiencies, the project manager told me someone would be out to complete the job July 17th. I readjusted my schedule for July 17th, but nobody showed. I subsequently called Reborn and another trouble ticket was opened. At that time I asked to speak to a manager who could assist; however; the same project manager called me on July 23 who acknowledged knowing workers did not respond to finish the project. The project manager said workers would be out July 28, but they did not show again. I sent an email to the project manager, but no response and the company refused to provided me contact with a decision making manager. At this point I have an incomplete project with exposed drywall and nobody will address the issue. The following issues exist: Misaligned drywall, leaving a gap at the ceiling and between existing drywall. Incorrect screws used for dry wall adjacent to a moisture source. A crack in the new tub covered/hidden with caulking. Missing acrylic overlays and incomplete work. Hole in wall left between window frame and window wall, cover with caulking. A poor cut into the wall and just covered with caulking. Poor caulking alignment and bead.Business Response

Good Afternoon. I did receive and understand the response. I appreciate that the company is willing to reach out within 72-hours, and their escalation of the complaint. However though, I have called Reborn on at least four occasions already and have been in contact via email/app, and was told just about the same thing, a trouble ticket has been opened and has been escalated. Though appreciated, there is still no path to resolution. Should this be the case someone will give this issue the attention it needs, great. I am writing to share my deeply disappointing experience with Reborn Cabinets in hopes of helping others avoid similar issues. I contracted with Reborn through ****** to remove my shower and install a tub in June 2023. While the tub initially looked nice upon installation, the overall process and follow-up have been unacceptable.First, Reborn failed to meet with the city inspectors to sign off on the project, leaving it technically incomplete and out of compliance. Despite my attempts to get this resolved, no one from the company returned to address the issue.Additionally, it has been only two years since the install, and the tub already has stains. When I inquired whether this would be covered under the lifetime limity warranty or if the tub could be reglazed, I was told no. This is extremely frustrating, especially considering the project cost me $16,000an amount I am still paying ****** make matters worse, I later discovered that the loan I signed was tied to my home as a liensimilar to a second mortgage. This was never clearly explained to me upfront. Furthermore, although the project was delayed for several months on their end, I was not given the option to cancel.Attempts to contact Reborn for help have been exhausting. Ive made numerous phone calls, only to be passed from person to person with no resolution. The lack of accountability and customer service is disheartening.Please be cautious and do your due diligence before signing anything. Ask detailed questions about financing, warranty coverage, city inspections, and project timelines. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Reborn Cabinets. I will deglaze the tub myself, but would like to have project signed off by city inspectors.Business Response

Nov 2024 - scheduled a bathroom remodel trough ******'s partnership with Reborn Cabinets LLC. within 2 days the project was completed , however the shower floor was ordered incorrectly. It was too small and a new one was ordered December 2024 - I followed up but no response until February 2024. I have proof of back and forth conversations with the manager where he cancelled a couple times to come see the unfinished bathroom claiming he lost his phone. Shower doors could not be installed since the city had not been scheduled to approve. They were never scheduled to this date. April 2025 Shower was reinstalled completely and doors where not installed. later installed incorrectly. Is now falling apart as the doors have different measurements on each side (not aligned correctly), and city has yet to inspect. Project is still not completed! I have spoken to several managers and keep getting the run around. Service has not been completed and it has been a year almost! I want a full refund to pay off loan with interest.Business Response

I signed a bathroom shower remodel contract on 2/18/25. Work began on 4/11/25 and has never been completed. Reborn has been unresponsive to my repeated requests for a reasonable timeline to have the work completed by phone, email and text messages. In four days, 3 months will have passed without progress toward resolution. This complaint was closed last week, however, contractor (Reborn) has still not completed the work specified in the complaint. (Reborn responded to the BBB stating that the matter would be escalated to upper management and someone would reach out to me. ******** *******, project manager, did call me on 7/8 and advised me that the remaining work would be completed on 7/19. No one showed up today as was promised, nor did anyone notify me that they would not be coming.) My *********** contacted Jaccuzzi Bath for a quote on a new shower for 2 bathrooms on 5/8/25. The salesman came to our home & said they had a promotion going on this month & that we could upgrade to the top one for the same price, so he quoted us a price for 2 showers for a total of ******** with ***** down payment making the balance ******** if we did it that day. He never sent a contract & quoted a price of ********* for 2 showers which was good for 1 year if we didnt agree to do it that day so we put *****.00 down to get the cheaper price. We received a letter from the finance company saying the loan was for *********, so we called the sales **** asking about ******* said that was the amount we got approved for but not the amount of the showers, assuring us the amount was ********. We hadnt received the contract until 5/22/25, then stating the amount of ********* with my husbands signature which he never signed, we never say the contract so they forged his signature & now we are fighting this company about the amount.Business Response

I have tried to contact both of them with no success, when I do get a hold of someone, they give me the run around & that someone (manager) will get a hold of me within 24 to 48 hours but no does. This business solution to the problem is just a phone call saying theyre sorry. I feel they should still do the work for me & offer me a discounted price for all the trouble, headaches & problems they have put me through. When I do get through & get to talk to someone- I have told them I am willing to pay more for the work but not the price they have on the contract. [ ] On 5/3/25 we sat down with ***** ****** and signed a Hone Improvement Agreement approving Reborn to come out to our home to tear out existing shower tile replacing with textured tile, replace shower door and fixtures. We were told we would receive a call to schedule job, which we never did my husband had to call them.When their guys finally showed up they informed us they could not do the job. My husband took off work to be at home.We called their office to inform them their guys could not do work we agreed upon we were told someone would get back to **...which didn't happen-we had to keep calling.We finally got a call from ******* Esraeel apologizing and offering us a credit if we reschedule and he promises to get our job done.We reschedule for 6/18 again never get a confirmation call or email. Im filing this complaint to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with Reborns service during my shower replacement and to seek a swift resolution. This process has stretched over nearly a year, causing significant disruption to my time, finances, and personal life.I chose Reborn based on a ****** recommendation, expecting professionalism and quality. Unfortunately, my experience has been unacceptable. The initial installation on June 17, 2024, damaged my floors and walls, which I had to fix myself. The shower pan had gashes and scrapes, requiring a complete replacement. Despite months of attempts, an inspector wasnt sent until much later, with two missed technician appointments beforehand.The assigned project manager consistently failed to return calls. Even after confirming the need for a redo, it took months to schedule, with repeatedly missed appointments causing work disruptions, travel rescheduling, and pet care issues. The replacement was poorly donethe wall was warped, and the shower door wouldnt close. After months of unreturned calls, a team replaced the wall, but issues persisted. Another inspection confirmed the wall needed replacement again, and I had to follow up after two weeks of silence.The pattern continued with missed appointments and excuses like supply issues, scheduling conflicts, or vehicle breakdowns. Despite multiple requests, Ive received no meaningful response.After a year of delays, unresponsiveness, and poor quality, I seek a final repair and appropriate compensation for the disruption, costs, and inconvenience caused. Without prompt resolution, my next action will be to file a similar complaint with ****** and look at other options to recoup losses.Business Response
