On March 1, 2025. went into a **************** store and wanted an iPhone due to a promotion they were having. You get an iPhone for $350 out the door and my monthly bill would only go up $10. Doing the purchase, I was told I could get an iPad on ******* and only pay $15 per month for the line and also get an Apple watch on ******* and only pay $10 per month for the line. I said yes to all, because who wouldn't with such a good deal. I was with my daughter and she decided to get the same promotion. We were also told that several accessories came with the iPhone but did not realize he had also charged us for extra accessories we did not ask for nor did not need. We were there for over six hours. We kept telling the salesman that we had to leave but he would not give my daughters phone to her so we could leave. He kept telling us it would only take a few more minutes and kept going into the back office. Finally, he gave her the phone, boxed up all our stuff, we paid and got out of there. That night I looked at what he had charged and was SHOCKED to say the least!! We were NEVER told that there were extra fees to activate each device and a large amount for tax on the devices that were free. So we not only paid the tax on the full price of the item, that was supposed to be free, but also are paying tax on the item with each monthly bill. When I received my first invoice, I was over charged for the items and also was being charged a monthly fee for the cost of each item. I called ******* directly and got a resolution for some of the charges. I did not take any of the items out of the box because at this point I was returning everything. We were not even told there would be a $50 fee for restocking each item. I returned all the accessories, as the ******* customer service agent, told me to but have not received credit for any of those items, even though they show the items being returned. This has been a complete nightmare for the last month!!

I have been a customer of Verizon and have for years paid for insurance on my phone. Last May 2024. I lost my Cell Phone. I went to the Verizon store located at 1785 W Valencia RD. Tucson AZ.
to replace my phone. I was told by the salesperson that Verizon no longer carried the model I had, but I was eligible for an upgrade. given the choice between the Apple 15 or the more expensive Apple 16. I opted to get the Apple 15. At that time, I was told by the salesperson that my insurance would cover to replace my lost phone, However Verizon no longer carries that model, that because it was an upgrade that my insurance would cover a portion of the cost. I was then told that after the insurance I would only have to pay additional $200.00. Several months had past, and on several occasions my bill continued to get bigger. After several attempts at having my monthly payments taken directly from my account. I finally ask why my bill had gone from $86.00 a month to $126.00. I was told a portion of the bill was for services I did not request. Most important was a $23.00 monthly charge for the new phone. I asked how much do I owe on the phone? I was told the full amount of $800.00. I asked what portion was paid by my insurance. I was told no money from my insurance covered the new phone. As the salesperson did not put down that I was replacing a lost phone. That I was purchasing a new phone. I asked the person I was speaking with why I would purchase a new phone when I had been making monthly payments for insurance on my old phone. Insurance that covered me for a lost or stolen phone. And for what reason would I have been for years been paying for insurance. Apparently, he could not think of an answer. He was however able to cancel the additional items I never requested i.e. Disney package, and he offered for me to have a second line added for free? I cancelled my insurance and have requested to have my past insurance. do what it was intended to do. Cover me for a Lost Phone.
