- Additional Info:6 members serve on the board and they meet monthly. Hermosa Montessori is a school community of lifelong learners that integrates Montessori education with Arizona Academic Standards to foster self-motivated, moral, social and environmentally responsible individuals.
As a Montessori Program, Hermosa integrates the teaching of peaceful, self-responsible behavior into all aspects of the curriculum. Hermosa students and staff are instructed in non-violent communication and the school has a zero-tolerence policy for violent behavior. Alcohol, drug and tobacco abuse prevention are included in the curriculum. The campus is fully fenced and gated for the safety of the children.
