We have tried multiple, multiple times to get in touch with this customer, the owner has called and left messages as well as the office manager, we arent happy accepting anyone's money who is not happy giving it to us, we will return his money which is what he is asking for, if we could get in touch with him, unfortunately all of our messages we have left have not been responded to. On our end we arent sure what more we can do except continue to leave messages in hopes he will return our call and accept the money back.
If the BBB has any recommendations on what more could be done we are open to all suggestions. If there is any more information that is needed please let us know. Thank you

The business said they will only refund the consumer their money if we take down the complaint.
The consumer said he doesn't believe they will refund him his money even if we take down the complaint.

I am filing a complaint against Dynamic Comfort LLC for failing to honor their warranty agreement, misrepresenting services, and delaying a promised refund.
On April 28, 2023, I purchased a 10-year warranty for $2,660. The company initially claimed I only had a 1-year warranty, requiring me to send proof of my contract before they acknowledged their error. They eventually agreed to add an additional year of service for missing the first year and serviced my units on June 22, 2024, after failing to show up on June 7, 2024.
On September 16, 2024, I reported an issue with one unit. Their technician, Zack, quoted $3,500 for a compressor replacement or $16,000 for a new unit, claiming prices would rise by 40% next year. He initially agreed to apply the warranty cost toward the new unit but later rescinded this, insisting the price would remain $16,000. Dissatisfied, I sought a second opinion from Ultra Air, who confirmed the units were in excellent condition and only needed a breaker replacement. I replaced the breaker for a few hundred dollars, and the units have worked perfectly since.
I contacted Paul at Dynamic Comfort, explained the situation, and requested a refund of my warranty. On September 20, 2024, Megan assured me a refund check would be issued. On October 16, I received $620, with deductions for an April 2023 service that contradicts the timeline. Megan acknowledged the error and promised a corrected refund, but I still have not received the check as of December 4, 2024, despite multiple follow-ups.
Dynamic Comfort has demonstrated poor customer service, misrepresentation, and delays. I request the BBB’s assistance in obtaining the full refund of $2,660.Business Response

Dear BBB,
In response to Mrs. Stinger's complaint, I have spoken with her and we have reached an amicable agreement where I (Eric Lawler, Owner, DCLLC) and Mrs. Stinger are no longer at odds, because as soon as I found out she had filed a complaint because she had not received her refund I called her and Zelle'd the remainder of her refund to her. My Mother passed away right at the time Mrs. Stinger was requesting a refund on her maintenance plan and I never ended up hearing about it until the day I called her and sent the rest of her money. Dynamic Comfort AC and Heating prides itself on its highest level of customer service, including constant communication with our customers when they have issues or concerns.
I am very sorry to lose Mrs. Stinger as a customer, and have dealt with the appropriate staff accordingly.
With my sincerest apologies,
Eric Lawler,
Owner, Dynamic Comfort AC and Heating

7/27/24-My husband Arnold Serrano called Dynamic Comfort to check our a/c unit as he felt it was not cooling properly. A technician, Zachary Patterson showed up to service the unit. He proceeded to sell us a Service Contract for $1100 for two service calls a year for the next five years, but we had to apply for a credit card thru Synchrony Bank which I did and was approved. All this was done electronically on Zachary's I-Pad. At the time, he told us the outside unit and indoor blower needed cleaning. He went ahead and cleaned the outdoor coils with a water hose. He said he or someone would be back on Monday 7/29 to clean the indoor blower. Monday came and no one showed up my husband called and they told him someone would be there on Tuesday, 7/30-Tuesday came and no one showed my husband called again and they told him someone would be there on Wednesday, 7/31 again no one showed-On Thursday, August 1, our a/c unit went out and my husband called to advise them, they send someone with a portable a/c unit until a technician could come and assess the problem. By that time we had run out of patience and we called Megan to cancel the service contract we were no longer interested in the meantime I recd my credit card bill for $1100 plus $69 originating fee. I called and opened a dispute with Synchrony Bank on August 9, they requested a copy of the invoice which I provided. The dispute was settled on September 27 unfavorably because the invoice indicated the services were provided. Since then I have repeatedly tried to call Megan and she claims the services were provided but we did not receive any of the services stated in the contract and we cancelled it. We suffered through ten days of 110-115 degree heat before we could replace the unit by another merchant which cost us $3500. Dynamic Comfort runs a scam. We think Zachary may have sabotaged our a/c unit in order to force us to buy a new unit from them. I am seeking a refund to pay off the credit card.Business Response

We have refunded Mrs. Medlins money back to her, she gave us her word she would take down the complaint as it is resolved. I have attached 2 files showing that we have issued the refund through synchrony bank (the institution which she received financing from for the work performed at her home). I have also spoken to Mrs. Medlin letting her know we did issue the refund as well as show her proof of it, which she responded that she is satisfied with the refund and would take the compalint down.Initial Complaint

I was solicited by this company for a new air conditioner. I have a very old system and WANTED this solicitation. However, when Eric Lawler (owner) and Ronnie (technician) came to my house, they spent nearly three hours explaining in excruciating detail how my system was horrible. Ok, that’s fine, but as soon as I requested hard numbers, I started to get a run around.
They offered “financing” with absolutely zero terms and conditions. I asked for the defaulted payment interest rate and he had no idea what I meant. He kept saying “no it’s the same amount each month” as if no one understands what a monthly payment is.
After an hour of scribbled fabricated prices (I was shown no exact model numbers, part numbers, unit comparisons, etc.) I told the men to leave my home. Eric insisted no less than 5(FIVE) times for “cash in hand” that day. I told him that no one was getting any of my money without a written contract for work. He then crumpled up his lined paper of scribble numbers and left. I asked for this quote to be emailed to me before business started. I received nothing so reached out via email with the following:
Good morning.
“On Wednesday the 29th, Eric and Ronnie came to my house (4822 a Chilean loop) to perform the 20 point inspection as part of a package from a KOLD contest. I requested a quote of the following:
How much it would cost to repair any of the issues on my current system,
How much it would cost to replace the complete system, with the quoted specific fitted unit Eric suggested for my home, from low to high end,
How much it would cost to pay upfront fully,
And how much it would cost to finance for 60 months, along with terms and conditions, default interest rate on missed payment, origination fees, or required deposit up front, etc.
Eric refused to leave me any paperwork because he said it was “Unprofessional” so here I am asking for a much more professional and official quote in a written emailed format. Thank you so much.”

I remember this day particularly well, We (Dynamic Comfort) AC and Heating had one (1) Variable speed compressor, 20 SEER unit in stock at my warehouse that I had bought on A "Buy Order" at a huge discount and was able to offer a $22,000.00 unit to the Casey's for $16,000.00. I knew that unit would sell that day, as I had 3 more appointments to go that we're all seeking to buy a new air conditioner. The unit sold on our next appointment, and so I didn't feel right sending her a bid for the same unit I offered the day before at $16,000.00 that was now $22,000.00.
As soon as I saw she had filed a complaint about not getting a formal quote the next day, I called Mrs. Casey and explained the situation and followed up with a written quote as she requested.
Sincerely,
Eric Lawler Owner, Dynamic Comfort AC and Heating

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Dynamic Comfort LLC AC & Heating. I signed and paid for a 10-year service plan on 4/28/2023, which included two service visits per year for my home's two units. However, they have failed to show up even once.I attempted to schedule a service, but they kept telling me they would get back to me. On 6/7/2024, I called to cancel my plan and request a refund. Meghan convinced me to keep the plan by offering an upgraded surge protector and a 1-year extension on my agreement. She also scheduled me for service the next day between 12-3 PM, so I agreed.I waited all day on Saturday, missing my kids' end-of-season soccer party, only to have no one show up. When I called at 4:10 PM, the person I spoke with had no idea why Meghan scheduled me for Saturday, as he had just returned to the office from being sick. He promised to check with his technician and call me back within 10 minutes, but he never did.On Monday morning, 6/10/2024, I called Meghan to cancel the service but only reached her voicemail. She responded with a very rude text claiming they had called me and that I screamed at their guy not to come. This was completely untrue, and I provided my call log to show that no one contacted me. Meghan then told me I wasn't in their system and later claimed that I only had a 1-year contract, which had expired. I sent her a copy of our 10-year agreement, but she has since stopped responding, as has their office.I would not recommend Dynamic Comfort LLC AC & Heating to anyone. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to provide the services promised in the contract are unacceptable. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reliable company.Business Response

Dear BBB,
During t*e mont* of September, 2022, Dynamic Comfort ran a raffle in conjunction wit* KOLD C*annel 13. T*e Winner of t*e raffle was to *ave a brand new central *VAC system installed in t*eir *ome. W*en customers went to t*e kold website to enter t*e raffle, t*ey were asked to type in t*eir name, address, zip code, and p*one number, as well as answering 'true' or 'false' to 6 additional statements including Bi-annual maintenance, AC inspection, Indoor air quality products etc. Again, our service area was clearly outlined on t*e kold website as well as our own website. Mr. * answered false to all ot*er services except t*e Free central *VAC system. I am including a copy of t*e original page w*ere Mr. * entered t*e raffle, and t*ere is no city or zip code listed.
Mrs. ****** ****** of Tucson, AZ won t*e raffle and *ad a new central *eat pump system installed in *er *ome in October, 2022.
Due to t*e overw*elming response to t*e raffle, and as a consolation prize, Dynamic Comfort called and offered a free 1 year Maintenance plan to everyone in our service area w*o entered t*e raffle. If Mr. *. would *ave listed *is complete address and zip code, we never would *ave called or texted *im to verify *is address or mention winning t*e consolation prize we *ad decided to offer.
I will of course do w*atever t*e BBB would like me to do in t*is situation, just please remember C*annel 13 reac*es Sierra Vista, Nogales, Safford, and a couple ot*er towns also not in our service area. T*at is w*y we were so clear about exactly w*ere our service area is. T*ank you for your time and *elp wit* t*is matter.

The tec. ****** ******* did the testing and evaluation of my 5 year old Rheem central aid system. in 30 minutes ****** had told me I needed over 2,000.00 in service and parts, I was very surprised and said no to a new fan. I also asked for the replaced parts back. The next morning I went out back and the ac fan on the outside unit was running and would not shut off. I called ****** and he said that it would be ok, and he would be over later. ****** was telling me 12 hours ago that the fan would not hold up. It was about noon when I called the office and find out when ****** was going to make it back. ****** showed up not too long afterword and said he had re hooked the fan incorrectly. I then called Parker and sons AC and heating to give me a second opinion at which time he tested the two parts that were replaced one needed replacement and the other part was fine. I trusted these people, but even I had to ask for the old parts. The booklet the company gave to me had all these great ratings and organizations that supported them I trusted them when I shouldn't have. I would like the price of the stated part that didn't need to be replaced, refunded to me.
