Aquavets installed a new scupper box and a partial downspout in the back of our home on March 8, 2022. We paid fully for the service ($250) though the project was not completed on that day because they proposed an additional service to extend the drain and install a pump for the rainwater. They said they would order the parts needed and complete the work. They said it didn't make sense to finish the downspout which hung 3 feet from the ground because this new scope of work would require a different part. We agreed it didn't make sense to waste the part to finish something temporary. They agreed to be in touch to schedule when the part came in. On April 11 I messaged them to inquire about the part and the scheduling. No reply. I began calling and messaging weekly and received no replies. I asked for assistance to at least finish the original scope of work if they weren't going to install the drain because with coming monsoons we needed water to drain away from our house. No reply. I continued called and leaving messages. No replies. When the rains came I bought new supplies to try to finish the drain and move the water away from the house myself. I could not match the supplies they used and so the solution is imperfect. We have scheduled with a new company to finish. We also noticed when the rains came that the scupper box they installed massively leaks. I called to report this and was again met with silence. In summary, the work was incomplete and not well executed. The company completely ghosted and did not make any effort to reply to repeated and polite pleas for help.
