1 starRip off artist. I would stay clear of these people. There is major fraud going on. Heres an example; I pay for full coverage on every car i own no matter what. Im no idiot. These people have harassed me every single month of financing wanting a insurance cover letter. (Ins. Card wont do). Im talking years of this harassment. I tell them enough and guess what. I get a random 210 dollar ins. Charge on my account. First and foremost, PROVE IT. Second, lets see what the courts have to say when I'm able to prove full coverage for literally my whole life. Im taking these people to the cleaners for fraud. I WOULD WATCH OUT YOU WILL HAVE MAJOR ISSUES WITH THIS COMPANY.Hughes Federal Credit Union

1 starI am a disabled veteran. I was denied a refinance vehicle loan due to the fact that Im unable to drive because of my disabilities. I was approved all the way through the credit process and only denied for not having a drivers license even though Im legally allowed to own a vehicle to get back-and-forth to doctors appointments.Hughes Federal Credit Union

1 starI had refinanced my vehicle with Hughes and it has been a horrible experience. Their website is garbage and seems purposely hard to log into, it asks you for a user number or something similar which I haven't the slightest idea how to find. Unfortunately a fell behind when work got slow and their representative called late in the evening when I wake up in the middle of the night and then she texted me with a pompous, arrogant attitude. When I did make a payment they sent some random weirdo to my house two weeks later to supposedly "check on the property" which seemed more like an attempt to strong arm me than anything else. I would advise anyone considering using any of their services to stay away from them. They're impossible to get ahold of on the phone on top of all of that. 1 starHow does this credit union have an A+ rating? You cant get in contact with anyone. Sat on hold for 20 minutes before giving up. Tried the online chat, someone named **** offered assistance and then was non responsive. This place is a complete joke.Hughes Federal Credit Union

1 starIf I could leave less than 1-star, I would. Simply the worst ******************* experience I've ever experienced. I can't wait for them to go under, as they are quite possibly the worst business I've ever dealt with. 1 starHorrible experience!!!! I refinanced my vehicle with them over 3 years ago and somehow my balance keeps increasing and not going down. I fell behind on payments recently, due to being out of work from an injury and they said they would send me paperwork to sign to reduce my payment for 6 months and also to verify my insurance. (I received no paperwork for the insurance portion and no calls/messages asking to please contact me were returned for two months) I woke up the other day and my vehicle had been towed to an unknown place all because they hadn’t received my insurance form. So due to lack of effort on their part, they just decided to repossess the vehicle. (The car has been continuously covered by insurance) somehow all this led to them telling me that in order to get the car back the total balance due for late payment (instead of the already signed payment agreement amount) and a new loan was going to go into effect with my husband added to it. I absolutely refused to allow him to sign any paperwork with them and told him they can keep the car. I have tried contacting them to find out where the vehicle is to retrieve my belongings and here we are several days have passed and no paperwork has been sent to allow me to voluntarily surrender the car and no way to get mine and my children’s belongings out of the car. I still have no idea how a loan that started at around 37,000.00 when I refinanced with them has a payoff balance of over 41,000.00 and I have paid on it for 3+years!Hughes Federal Credit Union

1 starDid not verify my insurance before taking my loan. What do they get paid to do over there? They already added 4k in principal to my loan when taking it and the extended term ensures they make massive profit on interest and thats for doing nothing because I was in a desperate position. So they are adding 400 to my loan for CPI because they are too lazy to verify my insurance. Im already paying them 22k for a car worth 8k. What more do they want? ********* greedy company that wont put in any effort to actually work for their money.Hughes Federal Credit Union
