Repair Order # 71758- Dane Mahoney On August 14th, 2023 I took my 1996 BMW to Integrity Automotive. I trusted Integrity as I’ve utilized their services for nearly a decade. After months of Mis-diagnosis to my vehicle the employee Taj Ferguson called to let me know that I would need an engine replacement or complete refurbishment to the engine I already had. I chose the new refurbished engine option because it would have significantly less miles on it than my current one and would come with a 3 year warranty. A few weeks went by without any updates so I phoned Integrity for an update. At this point in mid October 2023 I was informed that several mechanics had left the shop and an owner had died and they were now behind so they sent my vehicle to their “sister shop” that was owned and operated by one of their owners- Manny Gomez. I was assured that the new shop was an extension of Integrity’s shop when they ran out of room or got behind and that my Vehicle was in great hands and would be fixed and ready to go in a week. These stories between Taj and Manny kept coming until December 7th when Manny said the car was running perfect and ready to be picked up drivable and ready to go minus the vehicle needing new tires and a wiring harness. The car was not drivable and the hood to the engine was rigged so that I could not look at the engine. The car was started and violently shaking and immediately turned off and realized the car was in worse condition than I took it in at. The car was towed away paid for by the shop to a new mechanic to figure out what happened to my car since it was taken in by Integrity. I now have an invoice stating I need nearly $8,000 worth of work done to fix my vehicle. The “new” refurbished engine Integrity put in has water damage internally and has worse issues than my original engine. It appears to have been pulled from a junkyard. I have attached the demand letter to Integrity and they claim they are not responsible. I want my vehicle repaired.
