I purchased a car here with my father, a 2017 Land Rover Discovery, the car seemed ok, the day after I bought it the low battery light came on and the check engine light came on. I bought a battery but that resolved itself, so I returned the battery to O'Reilly Auto parts, but the check engine light remained on for "crankshaft sensor" two codes. APS supposedly replaced the parts two weeks later, the check engine light came on right after driving out and I came one more time to try to see what was wrong and the check engine light has been on since. Two banks denied the loan at first because the car was overpriced, we thought maybe its the difficulty of getting credit in this economy. But I am realizing that this is a dishonest auto dealership and he had no intention of actually fixing this problem. APS KNEW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS THERE BEFORE I BOUGHT IT. The diagnostic computer only turns off the check engine light for a couple hours at most. I REGRET BUYING A CAR HERE AND ANYONE ELSE SEEKING TO BUY A CAR SHOULD PROCEED WITH CAUTION AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT. The car was selling for 23.000 with taxes and fees, and 29 once the loan finishes and its not even in good condition. I AM DISGUSTED.

    On july 14th. 2023 *** ******* ***** purchased a 2017 Land Rover from our Dealership.

We did change camshaft sensor and exhaust variable valve sensor. We also asked him to let us know if there was any issues. Since then we never heard from him again until september 23rd of 2023 via text message. We responded to his text to let him know he is welcome to bring the car so we could look into it and never heard back from him.

    Thank you

As to be expected by now by this corrupt business, he is lying. I called to get it repaired, took it in, and called right after when the check-engine light came on. Then I came back and once again check the problem, he turned off the light, and as soon as I left I texted him back that the check-engine light was on. Ap, said “im going to ask a friend that knows about land rover” and I was supposed to wait, he also said “you need to drive it for a while for it to go away” then never heard back from him. HE HAD NO INTENTION OF HELPING AND THERE IS NO WAY HE DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A PROBLEM. I believe that AP did not make an effort in good faith to fix only to shift blame. The check engine light is only off for a couple miles and less than an hour if turned off with the diagnostic computer. He only said to come back after I wrote reviews and called him out in his corruption. THIS DEALER HAS BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR YEARS, THEY KNOW THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SELL CARS AND HIDE PROBLEMS. I have an appointment at the Land Rover dealer, I know the car does not get in the correct gear in the freeway, and when I find out my safety was at risk I will take them to court. I want this problem fixed by someone trusted, and I want the AP to pay it. This is a corrupt used car dealership, dealers like this make used car salesmen have a bad connotation. I regret trusting them with my business and my safety.
