    I found this apartment online during Covid times when in person viewing was not allowed. Based on the few photos of the apartment online I applied and was approved via email and then I heard nothing. I called the beginning of June to verify I had the apartment and make my deposit payments, ******** was who I spoke to told me they had to contact my current apartment and would be in touch with me by the 15th of June to get my portal open online to add my bank information for payment, because as long as I had the money in by June 28th I wouldn't lose the apartment. I never heard from her. I showed up to the office June 28th per the agreed move in date and the current agent said nothing had been done by ********, she also told me the apartment wasn't ready for move in and that I wouldn't be able to see it until I signed the lease and got the keys.     My kids and I have lived here for over a year now and have been dealing with leaks and black mold nothing has been done about it but covering up. It's been getting worse and we haven't been able to use our washer and dryer for a while now nor out our ***** food back into the pantry/washer dryer area due to the strong smell of mildew. It has been extremely uncomfortable being in the kitchen where we can smell the mildew. It has also been frustrating not get having good communication with the leasing manager ****** I have been trying hard to get this fixed for the sake of my kid's health/safety and I found out from other property managers we should've been given the options of transferring or breaking our lease a while ago. I have sent pictures of black mushrooms growing from the floor and we live upstairs, the leaks and other maintance issues and all I get is excuses and an "I understand" "I'll get back to you" and nothing has been done. I should've been given the option to either get tranfered a long time ago or be allowed to break our lease. I have been very patient until recently. I want me and my family to live comfortably in our own home. Being in our kitchen has been so uncomfortable.
