ABP Electrical1102 ********************************************************** Do not recommend. Very poor customer service! Paid 30 k for a system and nobody showed us how to turn it on! Had to learn how off ******** Now 4 months down the road our system isn't meeting the company's " production guarantee " nobody will return our messages definitely use another company if you're considering solar!

I sent **** an email with a very detailed explanation of how solar works. I tried copying that response here but it explains everything. I have assured **** that we will warranty the system and we will add solar panels if needed but the production estimate is for an entire year period and cannot be verified until we have a full year of production. I've also assured him that we will reimburse him for any lost production after the year period. I'm not sure what else I can do. ***** is not simple in the way it works and either he accepts my responses or he doesn't but it won't change the course of action we have to take in regards to verifying that his system will perform as estimated. A full year of production will tell the story as stated.

No matter the "months" or " years" you say or whatever spin you put on it. I was told "no electric bills for 10 or 15 yrs" That's deceptive advertising plan and simple! This system isn't eliminating my bills now in 10 to 15 yrs with energy price going  up I can't imagine what I will be paying! If you review my correspondence I asked for a bigger system from the beginning even if it cost me more! Since when isn't the customer always right? The reason I ask for more panels is friends thst have constantly underperformed with their suggested systems! Add the panels and rework my loan if need be. We are not happy with this scam!

****, feel free to reach out to your sales rep if you want to add more panels, you can do that at any time. I do think the sytem you have will suffice if you give it time. We outperformed our production estimate for October, I have been watching your system as promised. It's your call if you want to add more panels. *******************- ************

You totally missed then point more panels were requested before you guys railroaded us into to this scam. Why did you include ****'s number? He's not responding. So again more hot air. What happened to the customer is always right? Do you forget that after you get your 30k?

In August we purchased a solar panel system for 30k. We were promised that it would generate enough energy to cancel our monthly power bill out. They provided a performance guarantee. Our system initially preformed well but now it's at half that. The owner will not respond and explain why our production has dropped. We feel we were mislead by false promises. We have attempted to request it be repaired to no avail. We just want it removed and our money back or the system to preform as promised.

We are in communication with the customer about his concerns. The system is performing very closely to what was estimated. The savings are realized over the course of the entire year and his system has only been on for a little over two months. The production has not been cut in half, that is not a correct statement and we have a portal that proves that. All the production is there and can be verified. It is far too early to gauge what his savings will be over the course of the entire year. The customer will have credits in the cooler months that will make up for any money paid in the hotter months. We are in the process of resolving their concerns as we speak. We had a call setup for this afternoon but the customer didn't answer the phone. We are truly trying to resolve their concerns.

Incorrect,  I was promised a 110% production vs my usage. It is not doing that. Also it was promised thstvi wouldn't have an electric bill " for 10 or 15 yrs" this is simply not the case. They know the system is under built to provide what they promised. 2 months or a year it's simply not living up to the promises they made. We believe this is a solar scam. I've proposed to have them add to the system and charge me the difference. And I've gotten no response.  I've checked with other solar providers and yes my system is underproducing they know this as they say it's" producing close to what they promised " nope it isn't

We have been in constant communication with ************************* and we have offered a plan of action for his complaints which he is not satisfied with. To preface I want be clear that we do not offer a production guarantee nor a savings guarantee in our contract. Any savings or production given at the time of sale are estimates and clearly stated as estimates. A company simply cannot guarantee monthly bills as usage changes, this something that is beyond our control. It is not uncommon for people to get solar and then increase their electricity usage. We also do not guarantee production yet I have communicated to Mark that as a company policy we make sure that they meet their yearly production estimate and if they don't we will add a solar panel if needed and also compensate them for the usage that isn't met even though we are not contractually obligated to do so. For example, if they had **** kWh estimated yearly production and they only produced 800 kWh we will reimburse them the cost of the 200 kWh as well add a solar panel at no charge. Because the estimated production is based on a yearly average we need to wait until we have an entire years production before we take any action. I think you will agree this is very fair as I'm not bound legally to do anything at all. For whatever reason ************************* is not satisfied with this.

    Better Business Bureau:
If after a year *************************** does in fact reimburse ** the shortfall  and Install  additional panels we will consider this put to rest
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

    Regards,
