    On 4-8-25 I entered into a contract with Reputation Defender *** ***** with out first reading the fine print. The very next morning I called him and he was very nice and agreed to cancel my contract. He said it would take 3-4 days to reverse the charges. So far the charges have never been taken off my card. I am out $1,000. I feel that the company I trusted to protect me is the same company that has scammed me.

    I saw the ad on TV and sought a free reputation report to find it was not correct. I received a phone call and I told them transparently that their report is not consistent to turn down the subscription. They posted my email address in the dark web to retaliate. How would they remove this out? This need to stop and it is not a better way to do business.

    I wanted to inform BBB of ***************************** who contacted me by email on 05/15/23 asking me if I wanted to renew my services this year. I replied on 05/21/23 by email letting him know I would not be renewing my services due remodeling of my home. On 05/31/23 ****** charged my credit card for $3,000 without my authorization. I have contacted my credit card company and filed a police report. Shocked,

    I had been using Reputation defender for few years, i read that they DELETE info not suppress it, after multiple calls to delete account they said you could not AND that you have to wait for the person assigned to you to respond to you and ONLY THEY can cancel you! . .Needless to say i never received a call and only received an email asking me what i wanted when I CLEARLY stated i wanted to cancel. so i asked my bank to stop them from going in my account and refund my money from the month i had been trying cancel. Its funny . . the moment i expressed interest in this service.. they were calling me daily to use their service but when i wanted to cancel they wont return your calls or emails and tell you they have up to 30 days that i have to wait. From march of 2022 ive been trying to cancel finally had to involve my bank to stop thdem from taking money . . i want my money refunded

    I find this comment from Reputation defender ***** disingenuous. I JUST now right before this was posted ,received a call from a woman by the name of ****, representing Reputation defenders, apologizing for the issue Ive had trying to cancel literally since last year, speaking to multiple employees who told me that I had to speak to a person assigned to my account in order to cancel that allowed them to continue to take money from me until I stopped them from doing so through my bank. Not one employee ever told me that I could cancel online like I told **** not to mention online reputation defenders says if we want to cancel. They have 30 days to respond to us so that needs to be corrected within Reputation defenders trainings of their employees because obviously, I am not the only consumer to have this subscription to been told. We were not allowed to cancel without being contacted back by. The person assigned to us at Reputation defenders which is absurd but it is what happened to me on multiple occasions when I tried to cancel and nobody instructed me to go online and cancel and when I looked online this is what I read online as well and I did not create this information they have online in my case the person I was waiting to hear from ********************* I need time. He did reach out to me via email months after I spoke to a representative. He only asked what did I need one what I needed was to be canceled and he would leave emails instead of calling me anyhow, this whole thing is messed up the service itself is a good service. I think they are able to do what theyre able to do for me. They were, however, trying to keep me hostage in a subscription. I dont want or even to see how successful it was I needed to cancel it and see myself, so I dont appreciate this portion.Below is whats online as well that they will return a call to you in 30 days if you want to cancel I didnt even hear from somebody for months, much less 30 days How do I cancel my reputation defender?If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you with our services or request that we no longer maintain your information, please contact us at ******************************** We will respond to your request within 30 days.https://www.reputationdefender.com ...So Reputation defenders needs to correct that as well
