1 starHello, I am a combat veteran so I have never had to deal with anything so far out of my control but so detrimental to me and my family. I dont know if you can help and dont really care either way about being in the news, I truly am just looking for informational help on how I can address this. I have shortened the information so it doesnt put you to sleep but there is more of your interested.For a time I have used ********** and used a feature called mail a check to pay my HELOC payments. Those payments were supposed to be sent to ************************** who has since moved my loan to Achieve for servicing.Chime didnt actually send many of those payments despite debiting my account. This caused several 30+ day late hits on my credit unannounced to me. There have been many conversations, documents exchanged and phone calls. Despite catching up my payments Chime is unwilling to provide proof it was their fault, ************************** is not responding to any request to remove the late payments on my credit or at the bare minimum provide a letter stating I am caught up and have no 30+ day payments. The worst of it is on a recorded line, a gentleman at Achieve told me they are in the business of making money, not helping customersThis all means I cant refinance my home for a minimum of a year, it will more likely be 2-4 years or longer since my credit score will stay low and in the middle of all this a contractor wants to take my home for money owed on a major renovation we just finished. Rocket Mortgage has been the blessing in this whole thing but their hands are tied and cant help until those late payments are cleared. No one owes me anything but Chime but only ****** is stepping up to act on behalf of a customer.
