    Direct Fairways called to ask me if I would like to advertise, after much deliberation I agreed that would be nice. They charged me 399. American Funds $480 Candadian. All seemed on the up and up. (I don't golf, so I have not seen the advertisement). I have not received one single call on the advertisement.I received a call today from a different person requesting another payment. Another $399. American.I said no thank you, the golf season will be over soon. She said I received information about it via email, which I have not and she offered to resend it which she did not. I told her not to charge my card and I would not be re-enlisting. She charged my card anyway. I have reported it to the credit card company and they will investigate.

    Thank you for reaching out about your advertising account with us. I am showing that you purchased two placements on the course guide for $378 a year. One standard hole placement and one premium scorecard page placement. You did not reach out to us before filing this complaint, but once we received it we reached out to you immediately. The customer service rep that spoke with you offered the last payment back for the misunderstanding. Your advertisement was printed and shipped out to the golf course on April 11th, 2022 according to tracking number: 1Z0591W36850753137. That is when your advertising time started.     Again the story has changed. My original payment was $399. American funds, which was $480. ******** funds. 

    That being said, I did speak with a representative of the company last evening. She said I should not have been charged the 2nd time, and she was sending it to the escalation department to request the refund. I am hopeful that this will be remedied quickly. If not, I'll be back on the site to complain again.

    Over the course of a year, Direct Fairways charged my card for over $4,000 for a transaction that was supposed to be 2 - $750 transactions. This began on October 12, 2020 with a phone call soliciting an ad in our local golf course (***********************) score card. I approved the ad and they told me it would be $750 for the entire year, regardless of how many times it was printed. They called back again a few months later and said they had an offer that I could get 2 more years for another flat fee of $750. I agreed. They then proceeded to continually charge my card until I began asking them how many cards my ad had been printed on when I never saw my ad on a single scorecard. I never received a response except that my inquiry had been marked as a priority. Unfortunately, priority items with this company seem to get no response. :(

    Thanks for your feedback! It looks like you did speak with someone in our customer service department and they explained the charges and offered a partial refund as a courtesy. You had purchased a double-sized ad for 2 years at the rate of $1500 per year. Your advertisement was printed and shipped out to the golf course on two different occasions with the most recent shipment being on May 20th, 2022 according to tracking number: 1Z0591W30349809611. In the spring of 2021, you agreed to another double advertisement for two years for an additional $1500.     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution of a $1500 courtesy refund would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  I spoke with ***** from Direct Fairways and she confirmed once this dispute is resolved they will issue a $1500 courtesy refund via check, along with a physical copy of the ad on the golf scorecard that was provided to ***********************

    Direct Fairways was paid $499 on 04/29/2022 for our business to run advertisments on yardage cards and ***************************. The yardage cards were never printed as promised and after speaking to *********** they have never heard of this company. Direct Fairways refuses to issue a refund and still insits they are printing the cards.

    Hello,

    Thank you for reaching out about your account. I understand that you are concerned about the turnaround time. We provide these products to the golf courses for free, the design, printing, and shipping costs are covered by sponsorships. This is the first year that we have ever done this for the golf course you purchased an advertisement on, they signed up at the beginning of this season. The first years typically take longer because we have to design the product for the golf course and fill up the sponsorships spots. It looks like you did speak to a member of our customer service department and they let you know that your ad was scheduled to go to press on September 1st. Please keep in mind that your one year of advertising time does not start till the ad physically arrives at the course. They offered you a $100 courtesy refund and to continue running the ad as agreed to resolve any issue. We apologize again for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
