      I worked with Oswalt Law group on a chapter 7 bankruptcy back in August of 2024- i had paid them in full. Over $3000 not including the filing fee of 338. I chose to stop my bankruptcy because I was hoping to get relief from my father to help. The lawyer I spoke with told me if I choose to call them to complete the process- I could. I did not receive a refund from them at all and they told me it all went to phone calls. I called to restart because I was unable to pay off my debt with my father's help. The person I spoke with, **** had said just to schedule an appointment for the paperwork visit and pay the 338 in cash for filing. He later called back and told me accounting said my account has been closed and I was no longer able to use the service unless I started over. I explained I was unable to start over because I don't have over $3000. He said sorry and the call ended. All I want is for this to be completed at this time or them to refund my money for the process so I can use someone else to complete the service.

      Paid law firm in full in July for chapter 7 bankruptcy and case still haven't been filed.On numerous calls , there is always an excuse .Please represent us as promised or return our fee .

      I decided to stop the bankruptcy process as I wanted to attempt to fix my credit on my own. The paralegal and attorneys I spoke with were more than understanding; however, I've been speaking back and forth with a supervisor, the receptionist, and the accountant about getting a refund of my money which I expected in full since I didn't receive any services as of yet. I've called the main line to Oswalt Law Group multiple times where I was transferred to the accountant several times and only got to speak to her once. She was very rude and didn't help answer my questions whatsoever. She transferred me back to the supervisor of whom I spoke with already and who gave me the okay to go ahead and stop the process of the bankruptcy. It was an endless game of being transferred back and forth within the company, without the satisfaction of getting any answers or speaking with anyone directly about my situation. After the headache of being transferred most of the month of August, I was told I'd get a refund, I was told to speak to a supervisor again who was out on vacation. The supervisor originally sent me to speak with the accountant but she transferred me back to him which I never knew why because he was the one to approve my refund! Here we are, the beginning of September, and I have yet to see a single ***** of what I have paid to Oswalt Law Group. This whole situation has been nothing but a headache and a MAJOR inconvenience. It seems very unfair to me as the consumer because in the beginning, when they were taking my money, everyone was very polite and respectful. I spoke very highly of Oswalt Law Group because my wife also had a pleasant experience. I hate to have seen the ugly side of Oswalt Law Group because they had so much promise in the beginning.

      I received a notification about a lawsuit against me from a disputed credit card company(didn't know this was a common scare tactic). I'm a single mother, so you could only imagine this definitely sent me into a frantic panic. I immediately contacted Oswalt for assistance and was advised nothing happens with my case at their office, until my fees are paid in full. Within 5 weeks, I paid my full balance of $2,454. After paying my balance in full, I called and requested a refund due to an unexpected hardship. After playing phone tag for 2 weeks, the billing team called and advised me they would refund me $1,045 but will keep $1,400 due to services rendered. Sounds pretty unethical because my case never did move forward.I was advised nothing happens with my case, until I pay the law office the full amount due and submit my paperwork. Once I paid in full, the law office mailed me a packet to fill out. I never did fill out the packet and I never did meet with a case manager to move forward with my case after I paid in full. The only thing I did was my initial FREE in person consultation, which went over my payment schedule because again, nothing happens with my case until the law office is paid in full. In good faith, they should have told me not to even file bankruptcy because of a credit card scare tactic that was being used against me. In good faith, why hold onto $1,400 when they know they didn't move forward with my case because I didn't submit any paperwork to move forward. The strategy they're using to keep $1,400 of my funds is unethical, considering I never submitted anything to review my case. I understand $893.75 is the minimum that the law office will keep if you don't move forward, but I dont understand why keep $1,400 of my funds knowing that nothing happened regarding my case because I didn't submit any of the paperwork to move forward after I paid in full.

      I Contacted **************** group witch I was pervious costumer 7 years ago .this year 2022. I want file bankruptcy again they told me we cannot file my case or take my case until finish the payment of $2000 they send me document wish looks like official contract with case file they pretend that they have case wish only they have my name case number only for there data base only .because I did not give them the creditors names or any further information because as they stated they can not take case until I finish $2000 payment plan .every month I send payment my balance reach $1100 . after that because of financial situation and lost of job because of ***************** not paying my rent and I have 4kids and wife to support . I told them I need to stop payments and I file in the future when the situation get better .I asked them to refund me my $1100 ,because they did nothing there is no case yet to file in court and no creditors info until I finish my $2000 instalment payment .I called them again for my full refund they told me we get back to you ,they called me asked what they can do to make me happy .I told the guy I spoked too my full refund because not faire no case was file and they don't even have creditors bills to file with only they have my name my phone number and my credit card to take payments each month. told the guy I will give up in $200 just send me the rest $900 or $800 witch they not suppose even take that $200 this company they really rip me off by doing nothing the guy after send me first $145 and for $100 checks ,told me to help you out he told me ***************** believe the *********************** look the letter they send me full of chargers don't asked attorney to called me because no need ,they charge for that $93 just to told me welcome I asked this law firms to send me a least the remain $555 they send $245 I believe that not fair if not. I got small court .they have my address to send me the remain balance of $555 I hope we resolve this Issue with no court filing I know they are lawyers but no one a **** the law. I believe in united state court and system and untied state justice because god don't want injustice . you cant just take money from people by doing nothing will fight for my right until the end . god bless USA and court justice
