On March 12, 2022, around 4:30pm, I fell at the ***** marketplace in ********, **, I was transported by ambulance to ****************************** Hospital. I was admitted in the ** and the hospitalist was ************************************************. I was in severe pain that entire shift, while waiting for a bed upstairs. He was the hospitalist on staff that night and he would not order proper pain meds to treat my pain. He came into my room, running his finger along the table saying in a condescending tone, "Hello ****************, how are you?" I asked if he could ask the Dr. on call to prescribe me something else because the Fentanyl was working. He pulled back the covers and saw that my right leg was 3 times the size of my left leg. Then he said maybe he could ask the doctor to give me a muscle relaxer. I asked if he could order it, he said he would look into it. I did not know he was the doctor that was treating me that night. He then walked out of the room and said, "Have a nice evening ****************". I continued to scream all that night and each time my family member put the nurse's light on they would tell her that they have been calling him and he was not responding to their calls. That went on the entire night until his shift was ending and then a nurse brought me a muscle relaxer. In the middle of that night the nurses placed me in the back of the ** because I was still screaming in pain up until the morning hours of the next day. I found out after I left the hospital that my hamstring is detached, tear in my hip socket, tear in the abductor muscle near my groin and a hematoma 17cm x 5cm x 4.4 cm. I feel that he treated me with malice for leaving his practice. I made a complaint with the hospital 5/5/22 and I received an invoice from the hospital showing he charge my insurance $346.00 and a balance of $25.96 for me to pay and I am disputing that payment because of the services not rendered to me due to negligence. I am filing a complaint with my insurance today, 5/5/22.
