In June 2025, BBB investigated Legacy Exit Group's business practices. This investigation was prompted by the nature of the complaints received by BBB. Consumers allege the business fails to complete promised services after payment has been received; fails to provide timely updates on the status of a case; and fails to respond to consumer inquiries.

On June 17, 2025, BBB sent the company a Business Practice Inquiry through email and postal mail, to request the following information:
-An explanation of the customer service structure and policies, to answer consumer inquiries and return messages from consumers;  
-The business’s procedures for ensuring consumers are updated on the status of their timeshare cancellation timeline;
-The resolution offered to consumers if the business is unable to complete the promised services;

As of June 30, 2025, the business has not responded to BBB's request.
