We have lived at The Tides on Indios since 2017 back when they used to be called Park Place Apartments and The ***** And now since the new people have taken over you can't get anything fixed. We have sent several maintenance requests just for them to be marked as complete and the work never gets done. We are also paying for pest control that never comes and we have to take preventative measures ourselves due to the roaches that are infested in the building. Today I checked my rent portal to pay my rent and did so. Only to see that a late fee was charged to me AFTER I gave her a check for the amount that was in the portal. You call the office they never answer the phone and when she finally did answer I was met with "oh just pay the late fee next month" when you had the check before the late fee was posted and I have proof of that. I am very unhappy with how this place is being ran and every other month or so there is a new property manager in the office. You call the corporate number just to be met with a ringing phone and a voicemail that apparently nobody checks because I have never received a return phone call. We are now paying $1995 for rent and this apartment is definitely not worth that! I am supposed to be in an "upgraded" apartment but everything is falling apart, the tubs started cracking just a few days after moving in and nobody seemed to want to fix it, there is mold in the unit and maintenance was told the one time they came to replace a kitchen light bulb and all he did was use bleach to cover it up. Outlets are not properly installed and we have to use tape to hold things in them, wanted a mold check due to a leaking ceiling and that was never done. Have Cable ports that don't work and if we want to use them we have to call the cable company and pay for them to fix it!! Front door is not properly sealed so my electric bill is sky high, kitchen cabinets were not installed correctly and are very loose. I have been in this "upgraded" apt since last May.Business Response

This is by far the worst managed property I have ever lived on. No one in the leasing office communicates what is happening on the property. No one picks up the phone or emails back. No one from cooperate office emails back or answers the phone. I should not have to pay for Valet trash if they only come 2 of the 5 nights they're suppose to. I should not have to pay for amenities that are constantly getting broken into and have broken things like the hot tubs.I have brought this to the attention of everyone in the leasing office including maintenance and nothing seems to ever be resolved, I'm given excuse after excuse. The gates and all these issues have been going on since I signed my lease in October 2022.I have emails upon emails of proof where they are not responding and a call log of times I have called and never get a call back nor an answer.I should not be paying $1700 a month for a property who doesn't care about the well being and safety of their residents. On March 27, 2023 I paid April's rent via cashier check as Tides at Bear Creek TTLLC's online portal was not operational. I turned in a $1900 cashier's check (which is the base of what I pay monthly) knowing that I'd have a minimal remaining balance as they online portal wasn't functional, and I didn't have access to my total charges.I was notified my Tides at Bear Creek TTLLC that I had a balance of $11.84 on Thursday, March 30, 2023. When I accessed the online portal to pay the remaining balance, Saturday, April 1, 2023, the portal reflected that I owed $11.84. I entered my debit card information and submitted my payment only to be charged $71.27 which is SIX TIMES WHAT I OWED!! The service fee for choosing to pay using a debit card was $59.43. The portal DID NOT CONFIRM the service fee before I submitted my payment.When I contacted Tides at Bear Creek TTLLC this morning, April 3, 2023, after several rounds of texting, I was informed that there was nothing they could do and that my ability to communicate with them would no longer be available (see text messages).A $59.43 service fee for a debt of $11.84 is outrageous. I'd like for you to investigate this claim and I'd like the $59.43 refunded. I did drop off a money order to Tides at Bear Creek LLC in the amount of $11.84, the debt I originally owed. I look forward to working with the *** in resolving this atrocity in the near future.Business Response

Lease began 8/02/2022 . Lack of essential (hot water ) THE ENTIRE LEASE CONTINUED WATER PROBLEM/ SHUT OFFS / LACK OF ACTUAL HOT WATER DURING THE COLDEST MONTHS. After OUR WATER WAS CUT OFF AGAIN UNTIL ALMOST 9:30 AT NIGHT MARCH 28, 2023 I PLEED WITH A VENDOR TO PLEASE RESTORE OUR WATER MENTIONING WORK AND SCHOOL, THE VENDOR STATED THAT HED BEEN WORKING WITH THIS PROPERTY FOR OVER A YEAR AND EXPLAINED THE PLUMBING IS SO BAD ITS COST WOULD BE 2.5 MILLION TO FIX . I used to live in an apartment complex that is run through PMG management. It is called Tides on Glendale. I moved out about a year ago and they took me to court because I owe them money. I did not show up for my court day and it was decided that I owe them roughly $2,300.00. On my court paperwork it does not tell me who I am supposed to pay the money to or in what form. I have called the apartments and they said they can't tell if it has been sent to collections or not and to call PMG management corporation. I called them 3 times and left them 2 voicemails asking for someone to call me back because I have the money that I owe them and I am trying to pay it off because I need to get another apartment before May 31st because my apartment is not renewing my lease. Due to them not answering my phone calls or voicemails or emails I am not able to try to find some where to live and will be homeless because of it starting May 31st. I need help. Nobody can direct me to the corporation and actually being able to talk to a human to solve my rental judgement.Business Response

This toilet bowl has been reported several times but the manager seems to ignore my concern. The maintenance guy came to my unit and checked out the problem but was not able to resolve the issue. This looks like a sewer or plumbing issue. I lived in this facility for almost 3 years and we never had this problem. I sent an email to the manager and her reply was she will get to it when she has time which to me is very unclear and indefinite. With that being said, it seems like we just have to sit here and wait until she gets the chance to fix it. This toilet bowl is unsanitary and unhealthy. It odorous and disgusting on top of the fact that were paying a full rent and the toilet is not functioning which I find so unfair and unjust. I also asked her several times about sending someone to come here to spray in this ***** infested unit but she has no action. The manager seems to fail my concerns and yet she tried to charge me for a utility bill for 3 months when ** always caught up with my bills. She even sent me a utility bill for March when March isnt over yet. I went to the office to get some clarification about the bill but her assistant was not able to explain things to me. Im still waiting for her to respond to that request as well about my utility bills and still has no response. I have no power over the manager to help me with my concerns but I know you do. The pictures upload are of how my awful neighbors left their home in Februarysince then the house has still not been fully cleaned and the ***** infestation has spread to my apartment. They have done NOTHING to stop the problem. When I call they act as if I am bothering them and hang up or simply do not answer. I have placed several requests for pest control and mind you, I PAY MONTHLY FOR THIS SERVICE WITH MY RENT. They sent a guy out to put a past in my kitchen and bathrooms and within 3-5 minutes, he was gone. I have asked them to please clean the apartment and when speaking with one of the maintenance personnel, he advised the roaches would more than likely travel into my home once they do decide to treat this apartmentnow I have my apartment at 77 degrees because our A/C went out. I have sent an email, called, and submitted a request. No one is here. I have a baby who was premature and has different health issues and is seizure prone. I have called PMG 8 times and have submitted 3 separate requests for a callback, NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT. I am not sure what else I can do. Please help me. To whom it may concern, My husband and I moved across country and were not able to tour the apartment. We were emailed pictures of the floor plan and the unit reserved for us, we were told we would be getting a renovated studio apartment. We were shown that our unit would have a washer and dryer in house. When we moved in we got a 1 bedroom 1 bath non renovated unit with no washer or dryer in the unit and with many issues (ripped up ***** flooring, broken wax wring, cracked doors, broken dishwasher, broken garbage disposal) this apartment does not match the photos we were sent and their advertising dictated our choice in choosing this apartment location. In addition to all of these damages management had us wait 4 weeks to get our dishwasher replaced. We are reaching out because Management is refusing to respond to our texts or calls. In addition, our apartment is constantly smelling like weed and tobacco because our neighbor is smoking in his apartment. It is known to everyone that this complex is a smoke free environment yet it is not enforced. There are men smoking weed in the laundry mat on the campus as well. Lastly, the pool area was not as advertised (I have pictures of the condition of the pool that is has been in for the entirety of our stay) there is plastic throughout the pool including condoms, sticks and algae, ripped up chairs, etc. I want the renovated apartment that we were advertised, discounted rent for the time and trouble we have gone through to get our appliances fixed. If these cannot be met I want a termination of my lease with no cost to us per our time.Business Response

In March 2019, my fiance and I moved into "The Tides on Thunderbird" apartment complex in *******. We initially rented a one-bedroom, but due to several issues, we requested a two-bedroom once available. The manager advised us to hold off on paying the first month's rent for credits. However, the company denied her request. ********** informed us of a two-bedroom availability and assured us that she would make it seem like we never moved into the first bedroom. We moved into the two-bedroom, unaware of any eviction. Two years later, when renting another apartment, we discovered a wrongful eviction judgment against us, affecting our credit score. We paid the judgment, but it continues to affect our housing. We attempted to contact the company, but they have not responded. We urgently need the eviction vacated, and we will seek legal recourse if not resolved.We have recordings of the conversation mentioned above with ********** as well.Business Response
