I hired and retained Captain Pools for approximately 5 years to maintain and service my pool on a weekly basis for $120 a month. Twice within the last year, my pool has turned green due to their lack of care. The pool cleaners arrive on the scheduled day, and dont clean and brush the pool as they are supposed to. I know this because we have a camera facing our pool. The first time the pool turned green, the company admitted fault and fixed it. The second time it turned green which was 2/24/23, they blamed our neighbors tree leaves and lack of access for the week before (which we cleaned that week for them) and they then attempted to charge us $50 extra for fixing it and are still asking for payment. I explained to them that preventing our pool from turning green is their responsibility and what they are hired for. They did not fix it and cancelled our services. The readings of chlorine have also been at 0-3 ppm for months which also leads to green pools. In summary, they were hired to clean our pool and maintain the proper chemical readings which they failed to do both.
