2 starsThis might be a good program for some, but it's just discount club that cost a LOT of money to buy into. You get a certain amount of credits to help reduce costs of travel items, but do not be mistaken, you will always pay something on top of using your credits. This was NOT adequately explained to me at the sales pitch and we dumped a LOT of money into buying in, money we didn't really ******* buyer beware: personally, I rarely thinks the value is going to be worth the cost. Just know, this "savings" program is just a discount program and once you buy in, besides the yearly cost to maintain membership, you will still have to pay to use it.Their sales tactics are sketchy, as well, as I was made to believe you could use all the points to cover the whole cost of things. That is just not been the case. I can't stress that point enough. If you do buy in, run home and check it out within the window you have to withdraw from it and see if you think you'll use it. If not, cancel immediately. Just be smart about it. But shopping online is likely going to be cheaper in the long run, their hotel "discounts" can't even touch my hotel rewards program that I'm already in. So think about it.Review fromRichard A

1 starThis company is a ****. When we signed up we were given the impression that we would get $3000 toward cruises, hotels, resorts, etc. They also told us that they would offer cruises for the cheapest prices and would beat other's prices by $100 if we found cheaper. We soon found out that the "savings credits" were only offered $5 to $30 at a time toward bookings for hotels and rental cars and that rarely brought the price down below what ****** offers. Cruises from Dreamstar are always at LEAST 50% higher than those offered by ******************* even with the "savings credits" and they can NOT match their price even if you push to have a supervisor get involved because that was the promise they made when we signed up. So, you pay $10000 for a membership and pay $400 a year for the subscription to save about $100 a year. If you don't pay the $400, you essentially lose the $10000. You will NEVER break even. Do NOT buy in!Dreamstar Resorts

Ms. ***** We're at a disadvantage on this. Youre making allegations, but you have not provided any facts about your price allegations. We do know that you booked a car rental and saved about 14% (11.6.23), booked a 3 day hotel stay and saved about 14% as well (5.24.24) and you also were able to stay at a resort (10.30.24) for a week for ONLY ***** in taxes, the lodging was free. We don't show any record of you checking cruises. Nonetheless, rather than complaining online, we would rather find a way to make you happy. We do know that you did not renew your membership. If you would be willing to call us and allow us to try to help, We can/will reactivate your account for another year at no cost to you.Wendy S

Yes. Thank you for helping me to make the points I was trying to make. The few times I decided to use the club because it was about the same price as other online companies offered and I figured that I had already sunk a tremendous amount of money buying into the club, I still saved SIGNIFICANTLY less than the annual fee that is charged on top of the buy-in investment. You stated we saved 14% on those two transactions but that was off the "regular" price as stated by Dreamstar resorts (how they come up with that price is questionable) not off the price offered by other online rental companies. I find it highly suspect and incriminating that they have "no record" of their failure to make good on their promise of lowest cruise prices. I even talked to a supervisor who said they didn't know how the other online service could offer the price and acted like I was not being truthful. They refused when I offered to send them a link to the other offer. The resort stay mentioned above was the "free" "incentive" week that lured us into the presentation of the scam. We had to use it at a very select few resorts. We could use it for other resorts but the would need to contribute hundreds of dollars. And, it expired so we had to use it within the year. Truly. We will NEVER break even if we continue throwing the annual fee. We have had to swallow the fact that we were duped.Dreamstar Resorts

Your claims are noted, but the fact that you did not send anything to support your claims, seems suspect to us.I will stand on the comments that were previously noted, as well as the offering to provide another year of service, at no cost to you, should you wish.Should you desire this, please reach out to our corporate office for this as well as travel desires that you have. 1 starRUN! They lie about the first rate resorts. We mistakenly fell for their lies and joined in Jan. of 2024. We have booked 2 vacations with them and both ended up being timeshares with high pressure sales. We were told the resorts were the best of the best. The last resort, ************* in ****************** was sub-par. **** warm water in the showers, hard as brick beds and no A/C the last 3 days of our trip. This is the c*** they are peddling you when you book a vacation with them. Before we signed anything we had looked at their reviews on BBB and they had an A+ rating. Come to find out it is because the travel part of their company is new and is now giving them a terrible rating. It's nothing but a scam!Dreamstar Resorts

*****************,We'd like to address your issues one by one.The Cofresi Palms, has a 4 star rating (attached). We, sadly, are unable to one of our staff members at each and every property to manage these types of things. We certainly have to have a bit of trust, that our vendors will maintain the quality and integrity that we expect. You will be receiving a call from one of agents to provide you something for the inconvenience. We are very sorry about that experience. The other resort, ******************** is a 3.5 star rating (attached). It doesn't appear that you had an issue with that property specifically. They are both Timeshare resorts. We cannot help the fact that they try to get you to go on a presentation. You, however, have NO OBLIGATION to do that..The last issue, the travel part is new, is in no way true. We (including our travel department) have been fully functioning since 2017 and accredited with the BBB since 2018.Again, I am sorry about your experiences, but we did deliver what we promised. Quality (rated) lodging at very affordable prices. We would love the opportunity to give you a better experience on your next vacation. Call the corporate office and we will assist..Dreamstar Resorts

******************,You've alleged fraud to anyone that will listen. You claim that the agreement that was signed was not you, I'm assuming you're husband would allege the same thing as well. I would also go on to say that your credit card company did not agree, nor the BBB with your initial claim. To further refute your allegation, I would ask, if it wasn't you and your husband, who else would have a copy of your drivers license's?I will provide copies, WITH the docusign seal, indicating that those were INCLUDED when you and your husband signed.BTW, these were provided to the ** after your complaint and I suspect they will agree with us.I'm sorry that you're suffering buyers remorse, but, trying to get a refund 16 months after you purchased is not reasonable.Review fromAnthony P

1 starThe presenter at our event, one of Dreamstars many AUTHORIZED distributors, repeatedly said, If you need to get out of a time share, see me and I will tell you how. So this is just another falsehood added to the long list of others. And undoubtedly, they have signed papers to try to cover their tracks. Maybe the effort put into this very sophisticated web of papers/deceit, should be used to deliver promises for which people signed up for! If this were the case, there would be no issues, but what was presented simply does not go with the what you get, or should I say dont get, for your money. Truth be told from this end, if possible I would give a rating of zero stars out of five, and I have papers/documentation to back it. Eventually, the truth always comes out.Review fromCa B

1 staravoid this company. They offer no benefit or discount to your vacation needs. you may get a 10 or 15% discount, but that comes out of your a lot of dollar amount each year and once that succeeded, there is no benefit to this plan. Even with the discounted rates, the vacations are more expensive than you can find elsewhere. They promised to get you out of your current timeshare agreements with no follow up. This company will be out of business within two years.Dreamstar Resorts

First, the consumer is not providing real data, so that the allegations can be verified or refuted.Second, DreamStar has nothing to do with any type of Timeshare exit. If this person were real, they would see the agreement that the signed speaks very much against that.Lastly, we have thousands of satisfied members and have open since 2017, accredited by the BBB in 2018 and have grown each year.Review fromCathy P

1 starFrom reviews I read, I see people paid $3-4ktry paying $10k for NOTHING! The presentation we attended did not quote a set price, instead we were paired individually with a rep to negotiate, and they took whatever they could get and ran with our money. After 5 documented attempts over a ten month period to use our saving credits, we sadly realized we were duped.the presentation is nothing like the service which is awful, i.e. savings credits are applied at their discretion like $17 for $1,000 hotel stay! You can definitely do better on your own or free sites like Trivago. Their website is a mess and filled with many inaccuracies, and when you call customer service about this, they couldnt care less and tell you to deal with it with reservations ***** who cant understand you nor you them.so again, what did I pay for! Speaking of customer service, it is the same person for the distributor I purchased from as with DreamStar, so I am not buying into the its their fault, not ours excuse. DreamStar hired their representatives and are ultimately responsible for what they present.the buck stops with them, literally. Again, from the reviews I see a pattern where I, too, tried to cancel, disputed charge with credit card, got my money back, then taken away again. Obviously this is a well oiled machine (scam), that has perfected how they can ******* you out of your hard earned money while protecting themselvesshame on them. But its not over until its over, and I still have a lot of fight left in me. I have a lot more to say, and proof to back it up, but for now to anyone reading this review and considering DreamStar membership, I emphatically say, DONT.definitely not worth your money, time, and frustration in trying to make something work that is definitely skewed to their advantage. Again, shame on them for targeting hard working retirees who trusted and believed what they were told, and to potential buyers, dont fall for this untruthful sales pitch.Review fromManny G

This member purchased this program from a ************ ********* center 100. They collected the funds, NOT DreamStar.
We have nothing to do with a refund, if warranted. That would be between them and the company they purchased from.
