On 4/3/24 I placed an order. I realized there was a duplicate on one of the items equaling 4 today but I only wanted 3. I contacted customer service. She said she would take the one item off and credit my account for the item. I have been waiting since and my order was suppose to arrive 4/15-4/19. I checked today, shows entire order cancelled. I contacted customer service. She said my order was cancelled. Yet I was still changed. She said she submitted a ticket and I would hear back in 12 hours.Initial Complaint

I purchased 4 women's tops on 3/8/2024 and paid $89.95. When I received the tops I tried them on and 2 didn't fit. I immediately put them back in the package and requested a refund. I had to pay $10 for shipping the items back. I just received an email saying that my items didn't meet their return policy and they cited a "peculiar smell". I never wore these tops other than to try them on. Modlilly indicated that they are not refunding my money or returning the tops to me. They are offering me a $10 store credit for "goodwill. I emailed them and stated it isn't right that they keep both my money and the tops I purchased. I would like a refund of the money I spent on these tops.Initial Complaint

I got my package (2 dresses) from modlily and was not pleased with the quality. I followed the return instructions correctly. Once the company received my packages they claimed that there was a peculiar smell on one of the 2 dress and decided a refund was not necessary on either dresses . I asked for half a refund since the other dress was labeled as good condition and do not want to comply with their return policies. This company is disgusting and they are liarsInitial Complaint

I placed an order with ******* and paid for my items and the shipping when I ordered. However, the first package arrived at the US *********** with a counterfeit address label and $11 postage due. I did not accept the package or pay the postage due. I will likewise refuse the other 2 packages that are in transit. I believe the company is acting fraudulently and I requested a full and immediate refund of the amount I paid. If I do not receive the refund I will dispute the transaction with my credit card company.Initial Complaint

I shop from a ******** address, in ******** dollars and receive my items from a ******** address in *******, *******. HOWEVER, if I have a return I can only return to a *** or ** address, which substantially increases return shipping costs. I ordered 3 swim tops and 3 swim bottoms and they dont fit so I went to try and contact them about returning and their email just kicks back and then the phone number you have for them doesnt work. I have no way to contact this company to handle the situation.Initial Complaint

On March 24th I ordered 3 items. On April 5th **** was waiting for the item. I reached out on April 11th asking for a status. They said wait awhile longer. Reached out again on 17th asking for an update. Said they needed to reach out to their logistics. Reached out on 19th, they finally said do I want to cancel or reorder. I said reorder. Today I get an I am sorry, one item is out of stock heres a $5 coupon! WHAT? They already charged my card. Wheres the refund? Told them today I am going to my credit card company. Also, might be a coincidence but my credit card was frauded April 3rd just after this order. Coincidence? Probably not. This company should not be in business.Initial Complaint

I ordered five items said to make it there by Christmas on November 27 2022. After several emails I got a sketchy postage link that only changes movement about once a month. I reached out to them and they told me I could get a refund only by returning the items I didn't want after I received them. I'm not looking ti return them I just want the items or to get my money back. Three months so far. No merchandise. After looking at their reviews on their website. Modlily is a scam company. They up-charged me for expedited shipping and promised a delivery date. It was delivered one full week after promised date. When I reached out to say they missed the event, I was unable to wear the dress, I would like a refund--they said we can refund it with a shipping charge. I said, you already charged expedited shipping and didn't deliver on time, now you want to charge for me to ship it back to you. They replied, yes. Then on top of that, they charge 2 international fees to my bank account without my knowledge. This company is a foreign ************* that cannot be trusted, and should be forced to remove their website with such ongoing fraudulent practices. Look at all the terrible reviews, they are endless. I can show you proof of promised delivery date vs. actual delivery date if you request it. As well as email correspondence that said I will be paying for additional shipping to return it, even though it showed up too late for me to wear.
