    Very professional guys, arrived on time, polite and courteous, used foot covers in house all the time, did thorough inspection, we will be getting more fire alarms as recommended, glad to have other electrical problem fixed. A little pricey but well worth it, would call again in future.

    We have called Allied Electric over issues twice in the last 6 months. Both times the technicians were super. They were on time and very proficient. The last visit was due to a lightning strike that disabled multiple switches. The electrician has all the switches replaced very quickly and even found some issues we were not yet aware off. Thank you to the technicians and to the office staff who went the extra mile to make this a very great experience. In Allied Electric we definitely have found a company that we will use if we have future electrical issues and will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

You also did not become a customer with us and therefore did not do any work with us so you do not know how we work. Here is the response I shared with you on ******: First of all, I'm very sorry you did not have an outstanding experience with us, as that is our goal for each and every customer. Anything we can be aware of to improve upon we welcome! I'm also sorry your friend/business partner, ******, did not relay the service fee to you. As you know, ****** is the person who called to book the appointment and spoke with *********. Since we pride ourselves on being 100% transparent and straightforward, ********* told ****** on the phone when he booked the appointment that there is an industry standard service fee for our technician to come to the property. We always inform our callers of the service fee at the time of the booking so they have the choice to move forward or not. In fact, thousands of contractors- plumbers, electricians, HVAC, and roofers- around the US charge such a fee for our time and also charge higher prices than your average contractor. As you are aware, gas prices and operations costs continue to rise, so a transparent service fee and being priced right is a smart a business practice to ensure that A. we will always be profitable enough to stay open for our customers when they need us now and years from now B. it allows us to provide ongoing weekly training for our technicians (something most companies don't do) so when they show up to perform your job, they get the electrical job done right and safely for you. C. It allows us to compensate our electricians better than anyone in town so they can enjoy a fulfilling life and properly take care of their wives, partners, and children. D. We aren't your average contractor. We want to make sure all our customers receive an above average experience and work because quality is critical to your happiness- and safety! Other contractors may charge less because they can't afford to spend time properly training their teams, may be trying to outbid other contractors with the lowest price just to get the job and barely stay afloat, may not offer the type of 100% satisfaction or your money back guarantees that we offer, and simply may not be priced high enough to reflect the years of valuable skills they've acquired over the years to ensure your home is always electrically safe, or may not have the many years of skills required to do the job accurately and safely. Taking the utmost care of the electrical in your home is an investment, and one in which we take the safety seriously. I welcome you to browse the hundreds of 5 star reviews on ****** from happy customers who have hired us for electrical jobs, and perhaps reflect on the value we provide that others do not.     My experience was of deceptive practices and high price estimates.We scheduled an apt last week to have Allied Electric come out to obtain an estimate on running a 220v 50 amp circuit for the stove. ******* showed up and was nice and polite, asked a few questions, took a look around, took some measurements and went off to his truck to write up the estimate.******* soon returned with the estimate and a flyer promoting a membership program which would reduce the **** by 15% for a monthly charge and offered other perks. Then the estimate was presented and gone over. I shared that I was waiting on another estimate and that this estimate was considerably higher than one I received a day before. The estimate from Allied Electric was actually over 57% higher than one I received a day before and 56% higher than one I received a couple of days later from a third company. Both of who provided estimates at no charge.I am happy up to this point, until ******* presented me with a **** for coming out to do the estimate. At no time were we informed there would be a charge for the estimate and none of the other companies who provided one charged us for it. ******* shared that the office could be called if dispatch did not inform us of the charge at the time the appointment was made and that they should be able to process a refund, but he needed to collect payment. So payment was made through ******* and a call was made to the office where ********* politely indicated that it was standard procedure to charge for estimates and that we were emailed a statement. I was emailed an invoice only after I paid the fee to *******, but was not made aware via voice or document previously about the impending charge that would be dropped on us.And there is where the story currently ends. I will not use nor recommend this company in the future.

Rather than vent publically about how you perceived the situation, we so wish we could have resolved this together respectfully and found a way to improve your experience with us. I am confident that had you chosen to actually work with us, you too, would have had a great experience with our professional and knowledgable electricians. We pride ourselves on providing Straightforward Pricing for transparency- never deception. We don't begin a project until homeowners agree to the price and fully understand the work we set out to do. Furthermore, ********* in the office always discloses a service fee over the phone. We never send an electrician out unless a homeowner knows and agrees. Because, once again, we are all about high quality service and transparency. But, as we are all human, if she forgot this one time, we do apologize, which is why we called you to learn what happened and sort it out together to make it right. We also want to share that higher prices is a good thing. The saying, "You get what you pay for" couldn't be truer with electrical work, as with electrical, one wrong move and it can mean a potentially hazardous, unsafe and detrimental situation for a family and their home. Just as no two clothing stores, restaurant, or hotel chains are created equally, the same absolutely applies to Electricians, if not more so. Our electricians are responsible for family safety and must know exactly what they are doing at all times, so we pay them deservedly very well. Many, if not all, other electrical companies that have cheaper estimates, pay their Electricians a fraction of what we pay our Electricians. With everything they have to do and the risks they have to take, they deserve much more. This is why we provide weekly, ongoing training with even our most skilled electricians; staying sharp for everyone's safety is the utmost importance. We also run a profitable, legitimate and reputable business with healthy margins so that we can stick around in economically good times and bad for our customers even 20 years from now. Unfortunately, some contractors don't raise their prices as inflation and materials rise, and this hurts their business, unbeknownst to them and to customers. Many people aren't aware of these realities, so I just want to provide some education. But, we do wish you all the best in your endeavors!
