I hired Tree Pro's to trim my Palo Verde Tree and remove a dead mesquite tree. For the Palo Verde, a group of unskilled workers came and did a bunch of stub, flush or heading cuts and more than 20% of the trees crown was removed. For the mesquite tree, they left 7" off the tree above grade, requiring me to go rent a chain saw and cut it down to grade so I could bury the *****.Business response

Hello there, my name is ****** from Tree Pros. I am reaching out in regard to the services that we provided to you in September 2023. After the service was completed, we sent a crew back out for a touch-up on October 20th, with our operational manager on site. I understand that you were still upset after the services were completed, and I offered for our operational manager to reach out, but that was declined. In regards to the concern, is there a way that we can resolve the matter? We always strive to provide a five-star experience working with Tree Pros and do not want to leave this concern unresolved.Initial Complaint

Hired Tree Pros to come out to clean up the trees on my property. I explained living in an association that I could not have my tree hanging over into neighbors yard. *** their tree expert wrote up instructions for them to thin out the tree instead of cutting as he calls " the ******* look. What this caused was taking so much from underneath they could not cut the tree hanging over since it would effect the health of the tree. After speaking with several indiviuals including the *******, supervisor and the **********president I was promised they would correct once more growth was on the limbs. I have offered to pay for my neighbors pool service until the matter was resolved. I contacted Tree Pros who came back out removing a little but still not in the *** guidelines we had discussed prior to being hired for the job. Now after waiting a year for the undergrowth I receive a text telling me i should cut down15 + year old tree it will die if they trim since the health compromisedBusiness response

Client hired us for tree trimming on her ficus tree and Carob tree in 09/09/2020. The service we provided to her ficus tree was not as she wanted: trimmed away from her neighbors property line because her neighbor was complaining about the amount of debris falling in his pool. We returned on 09/28 at no charge to reduce as much growth as we could without compromising the health of the tree. This was still not to the satisfaction of the client.
We scheduled one of our Certified Arborist/Tree Risk Assessor to do a job inspection. After his review we then returned on 10/15 at no charge to shape tree and only reduce tree by 15% only from the sides. We provided client a free soil injection service on 10/23 to make sure her tree continued to stay in good health after our cuts. We also agreed not to **** her for the other half of the services so client only paid for half of her invoice which covered her other tree.
In May 2021, client called in again to get tree pruned. On 05/13/21 we provided a tree trimming service at no charge and reduced as much as we could from her ficus tree. Tree Pros adheres to ANSI A300 pruning standards and we did not make unnecessary heading cuts that *** cause issues with the tree in the future. We also provided another free soil injection service to make sure tree stayed healthy on that same day.
We have gone out to this client's property 5 times at no cost to client and did not charge her for her ficus tree to be trimmed. At this point, Tree Pros has done as much as we could on the ficus tree. Additional trimming and limb reduction of her tree can cause her ficus tree to decline, which is something we are not willing to risk. If she would like to remove the tree to avoid any more conflict with her neighbor we are more than willing to discuss that with client.Thank you,

Tree Pros respond that they came back at no charge to me. I originally paid for them to come out with one action to get the tree off the back property. It was the "trained arborist" that wrote up the work order to have pruned instead of trim the overhang which is clearly in before and after pictures. Now, I am left with a tree still overhanging into neighbors yard and Tree Pros states they cant fix without health concerns to tree. My neighbor has been helpful waiting for the underneath to grown since they cut that back so much. I contacted Tree Pros letting them know that my neighbor will not wait any longer to just trim the tree back like it was supposed to be in the beginning. Tree Pros stating they are doing at no change and like a favor? Had they cut the tree in the beginning as it should have been we would not even have an issue. Also, not responding and avoiding my calls is not professional. Please have the team come out and get the tree off the fence. At this point Tree Pros has left no choice but risk the health of my tree.
