I was living in the gated community of ************** for about 17 years. I moved out on Monday April 15th. I am very familiar with the rules about notifying the guard if you're going to have guests having lived there for many years. Early Monday morning around 5:30 a.m. on April 15th, I called the guard gate and told them that my moving company was coming between 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. that morning.I can document this with phone records and the security company also has documented the exact time that I called on Monday April 15th. I was told by the guard that everything was written down and good to go. I come to find out later in the morning that the information was not given to the guard on the next shift and they would not allow my mover in.The moving company that I was using charges $225 an hour. By the time we got the moving company to come back to my home, I had lost an hour and subsequently was charged $225 extra.I notified the guard gate and told them that I want $225 because this was not my fault. It is clearly their fault. I spoke with the manager and she told me that this information would be sent over to their corporate offices. It has been over a week and I have heard absolutely nothing back from this company. I completely followed the rules and notified the guard gate on the phone and there are records of the phone call. This security company dropped the ball and they owe me $225.Any help that you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
