I used RVnGO's "protection package" to cover my campervans during rental periods for a couple of years. I can say that I completely agree with other dissatisfactory reviews on this platform. They don't pay claims as they should. If you are a host DO NOT LIST your vehicle with RVnGO. For the most part it will not be protected. You are better off paying the 20% fee on Outdoorsy or RVShare because they are fair with their payouts for damage. In the end, it will cost you MUCH MORE to rent your vehicle on RVnGO. If you are a renter DO NOT RENT a vehicle on this platform. You will be opening yourself up to a lot of liability from both the host and RVnGO if there is damage. While I was successfully able to get most claims paid out it was hardly worth the time and effort it took to get paid and they still owe me about 15k after more than a year. *** and ********************* in the claims department are both insurance attorneys and crooks. They will do and say just about anything to not pay. This is an amateur company just trying to stay afloat. If you look at their financials they have lost over 3 million every year since they started and have not turned a profit. They have issued an IPO to raise funds but unlikely to be successful. If they owe you a significant amount of money and you think you have a case against them hire an attorney and pursue them aggressively and soon before they file bankruptcy.

When claims are made under the RVnGO protection plan for physical damage to the *** there is a process to be followed. Once we have all the information regarding the claim, if the claim is for damage that is not covered by our protection plan terms of service, we will deny it. There is an arbitration process in our terms of service that a host can follow to appeal a claims decision. Unfortunately, this particular claim was not covered by our protection plan.
