      02-04-2024 $905.35 Bought/ rented out this 1 bd 1 bath apartment for a county festival for 3 nights and 2 days. 1st night we got there late and went straight to bed. In the morning when I was getting read I noticed how dirty the places was, there was dust on the walls, dead bugs, bugs coming out of the sink and the furniture was all worn out/ damaged. I decided not to contact them because everywhere around ********/ ******** was booked up and there wasnt vacancy and I noticed they only had 2 rentals and the other was occupied. I also wasnt comfortable with them coming in the apartment when we werent going to be there most of the day. So I decided to just contact my credit card to get my money back for the stay due to it not being as expected. I took pictures and sent them in and they told me the merchant was refusing to give refund and I would have to contact them, which I did. They told me that since I remained the whole 3 days and didnt contact them upon check in, that my intentions was I wanted a free stay. I told them that was not the reason I wanted a refund it was being the apartment was not as advertised. They told me they put me on a dont rent to list, which I told them sure cause I would never rent from them again. When they texted me upon check-in they said they were Metro ********, ****** says Desert View Apartments and then on the photos on ****** says Landmark Apartments. So I have no idea what the real name of the apartment complex is.

      In 2020 Shelton Residential took over ********************* located at *********************************. They had everyone move out to remodel, They served me a 60 day notice & I gave them a notice back stating I would vacate the property. I still have the documents, as well as received my deposit back in full. I found out today that I have a collections account for $3,700 that I was never informed of & shouldnt be charged for. I have been trying to get ahold of someone for over 3 days now. No one can give me an answer as to why this is on my credit, or even able to see it/have paperwork. Someone needs to contact me as this needs to be resolved ASAP.
