      Moving in and living at their property Sonoran Flats South was okay. They did tow my vehicle stating it didn't move for an amount of time when I worked 3rd shift, was a pain to deal with. When I moved out I received a bill almost 2 months later for charges, I contacted an attorney and the company it was disputed and taken to a 0$ balance. Then 1 year later I get contacted by a debt collector that states they sent it to collections. Still dealing with them trying to resolve it. Very bad management

      I lived in an apartment complex owned by Capilano for 2.5 years. I decided to break my lease and was informed my the complex staff there would be $0.00 owed since I gave a 90 day notice of intent. When I left, I never received any mail from them yet was sent to collections for over $2,000. I tried to fight this several times as they had never sent a proof of debt and I had emails stating I would not owe anything. Yet despite my actions my credit was getting tanked from this, as the agency they worked with had filed with credit agencies even during the dispute. After months of fighting, I caved and paid to get it removed from my credit report just so I could move on. Since then they have re-sent the debt to two other, separate collection agencies. I'm being haunted by a broken promise and I've already paid the "debt" to get it behind me. This is unjust and a terrible business practice. It is greedy and slimy behavior.Not to mention that during my residence at one of their properties, the apartment I lived in had a rock thrown through the window in May and they took 2 months to replace the window. My electric bill was through the roof and they did nothing to compensate me for it, even after several requests.

      If I could give zero stars I would. Capilano properties manages some of the worst properties in ****. They charge the tenants for everything and still dont properly fix things. I moved into my unit in Sept 2024 and it has been a horrible experience. Roaches in the apartments, plumbing issues, sewer water coming up in my tubs, toilets dont flush, flood from rain. They dont answer the office phones so I have to go into the office every prime I need to speak to someone. Im over the company and the property. Im ready to break my lease because paying $2200 a month and still having issues every week is ridiculous. Please do NOT move to Central On Broadway apts. you will regret it!

      The termite problem in my apartment. Doesn't seem to be of interest to management at Diamonte on ********** in *******, **. Still waiting for exterminator. Discusting.

      One of the apartment complexs. ************ in ****. Absolutely terrible. Just moved out 2 weeks ago. Well at the start we moved in to a not ready unit. Hole in 2nd bedroom door that was never fixed. Paint over almost every outlet. Outlets not working. Dirty at start. Putting a busted portable AC in unit when put ac died within first week. We were than told "out emergency maintenance man is in the hospital... Wel get out to ya Monday". It was 96 degrees in my unit at one point that Friday night in August. I had no dryer for almost a month, went to front desk to ask. They new nothing about my maintenance ticket. I talked with one of the assistant managers, the worst! She just nodded and basically looked at me like "run along now peasant". I asked her to not send maintenance while I run to the laundry mat, to hold off until I get back. What does she do. Send maintenance immediately over, my ******************* law was home alone so I had to rush home to meet maint. I'm waiting to be billed a crazy amount for "move out costs". I paid rent on time, was never an issue. Except when I would be upset with situations that are JUSTIFIED. You wanna live somewhere ******, look no further than *********************** in ****. Is this a reflection on capilano LLC? Perhaps slightly, as I called several times to them directly only to get a voicemail. Talked with a lawyer even during the ac crisis to see if I had any recourse, but my ******** just wanted to let it go. Mistake by us i guess. Rude, clueless front office people. Who is ya have any negative feedback will look at you with the fakest face. ************ you should be ashamed but won't because you are slum lords.

      apartments are infested with roaches, the first apartment was inhabitable so they moved me to a different unit which is still infested with roaches and has mold

      SCAM. We lived at *************** which is now apparently Sonoron flats EIGHT YEARS AGO. YES 8 YEARS. Living there was a nightmare. The air conditioning never worked, we were non smoking but our apartment smelled like smoke constantly, someone tried to break into our apartment AND NOW after not having lived there for nearly A DECADE they reach out to us saying that we owe them thousands of dollars in what seems to be things typical of a renovation. Its been eight years and of all the tenants that have recently lived in that apartment since us they are claiming that WE owe them money. We did not smoke anything, we never caused any damage, we do not drink, we did not know anyone in ******* therefore never had a soul over and they are claiming that the walls had to be painted, cleaning damages, replacing flooring and hardware. This place is an absolute scam, I cannot discredit them enough. Living on the streets would have been a better experience. I will take them and will contact the news because this is completely absurd.

      Not clean apartment full of roaches crawling all over rooms. Dishwasher coming out off the wall and not working I never use mine in 15 months I was there. We had a different top cover for our little oven, the oven was white and the top cover was off white and it leave stain when we cook. We were charge Elec, garbage, maintenance guys to take care of the yard which is not our responsibility, charge $5.00 for parking. Im going to attached part of a monthly bill because it is so long I have to send the ind. sheet and there are many. Every month is different pricing. We were supposed to pay $1131 a month but its $1200 and over every month. Why not just give you a flat fee of $60 or $70 but theirs are $80 and up to $120.00 for what. Thats outrageous amount for a one bedroom apartment and only 2 people no children. They trick me into moving in to the apartment because I never walk through the apartment before I move in, every time I come they say its not ready to show if Ive seen the inside before I move in I will not move in there but Ive paid them and move in the next day. They have called me a couple times already my daughter heard me on the phone with the girl and ask me what they want. They want me to pay them $247.00 for electricity for the last month I was there no way they take off electricity at the beginning of the month than you have to pay again after you leave. You can read a lot of complaints when people move out they always charge them with something. They over charge you while you live there and then they still charge you after you leave. Someone needs to investigate these big companies getting Rich by overcharging little people like us who dont have the power to fight them, this is wrong wrong wrong, please someone do something. How many complaints do you need in order to investigate the problem, I have seen a lot for one management company the Capilano Properties LLC. The Hamptons have a lot of addresses too. Help

      Roaches for over 2 years and they do not do enough to fix the problem. Management (*******) told me to stop putting work orders because they are just going to delete them. Also have a leaking ceiling since august 2023 that no one can figure out because roofers say it is not them and plumbers say it is not the pipes. Mold was found throughout the ceiling. Still have a hole in my ceiling. Office also said they didnt send pest control because they didnt think I wanted It when I clearly Stated many times that I wanted Them to come. Gave 10 day notice in March 9th and it is now april 19 and they have not done anything.

      This company owned several properties in ******* and they love taking $45 for a application and denying you right away. I applied for two of there properties and after giving them money they denied me a couple hrs later. This is the problem with places like this, they charge you $45 to $100 for a report any normal person pays $20 for and will just deny you right away.
