      Made a payment of $8000 to My Container Now LLC in/ around May 13 and a second payment of $600 for additional work on our container, the week of May 23. We have not had any response from the business on delivery of our container for the past 3 weeks. I have traveled to their location twice to seek update on our purchase. We would like to get our money returned, but cannot get anyone to answer their phone to discuss or respond to texts.

      (This description also included in my BBB Scam Alert filing)I contacted a shipping container seller on ******** Marketplace regarding a 40' HC One-time shipping container for sale. Some container sellers will provide a company name (ex. My Container Now, LLC). Because I was aware that there are many container scammers on FB Marketplace, I visited the actual business address where the shipping containers are stored and shipped from. The scammers had an office, sales people, signage, etc. I was shown a container that was exactly the same as the container I would be purchasing. I discussed pricing with the sales person and I agreed to purchase a 40' HC one-time shipping container with a custom installed roll up door and customized paint. The container would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. Because the container would need to be modified I was required to pay up-front. I requested to pay only 1/2 up-front and 1/2 on delivery but they required full payment. I agreed. I did not pay with a credit card because the processing fee would be almost $300 additional (huge regret). After payment, I received no communication from My Container Now. No calls, no emails, no texts after several week. I called and left messages; voicemail, email and text and received no responses. I drove 40 miles to the business again and spoke with the office manager and salesman. They assured me that my container was on-the-way, they were waiting on back-ordered roll up doors. The new delivery date has come and gone with no communication from My Container Now. I have called, emailed and texted with no responses.
