First, I would like to mention that all of the boxes were pre-packed, and the only tasks the movers were required to do were to load the boxes onto the truck, wrap the dressers, and break down the beds. However, the time taken to break down the beds and pack up the house was unreasonably long. I repeatedly inquired about the delays, only to be told that the movers didnt speak English. I also witnessed the movers eating chips on the back of the truck on two separate occasions, which further led me to believe that the process was being unnecessarily ************ addition, while moving my couch, one of the movers stumbled, causing the couch to swing around and strike me in the leg. The wooden base of the couch hit the back of my calf, leaving my leg extremely swollen and painful, to the point where I can barely stand. I am now seeking medical attention for the injury.Several items were also damaged during the move. The wooden leg on my loveseat was broken off, and my curio stand, which was in the living room, was also damaged. Furthermore, the screws needed to assemble both my bed and my daughters bed were lost, leaving us unable to assemble them. The final 1 hour and 45 minutes of the move were spent on attempting to get the truck to start, rather than unloading my furniture. I had clearly communicated that, due to the excessive time it took to load the truck, I simply wanted my belongings unloaded at the new location without the need for assembly. Yet, the focus was still on the truck, not on delivering my items. Additionally, when I was presented with the final bill, it was inaccurate. I had to speak with a representative over the phone to explain the discrepancies, including being charged for excessive time and sales tax, which I have never been charged for in any of my previous four moves. ?
