    I hired this moving company to move me from one house to another less than 6 miles apart. They damaged so much of my furniture and also the floor and walls of my brand new house. Owner ***************** has been giving me the run around about filling out claim forms etc. which I have and attached pictures. He never returns my phone calls. I honestly believe he has answered the phone on numerous occasions and lied that the owner/manager isnt in and that they will call me back and never does. The China cabinets are not replaceable one came from ******* ***** Im just sick about it and him not having any feeling that he needs to make it right. Plus my brand new house I just had built I made it appoint to ask the moving guys to be very careful this was my new house and to scratch my new flooring and dent my ceiling and walls are horrible. I keep ** calling *************** would say at least 5 times plus FaceTimed him and all he said that he wanted to have a team meeting with the movers but the lead moved said on a couple occasions that Art kept calling him but he didnt have time to listen to me keep speaking over me and would never give any real answers all he kept say is ***** days Ill get a settlement letter? I letter what there offing me or a check of my damages? He would not answer me. He kept telling me if you want to vent Ill listening but then hung up on me and would not answer the phone when I called back.

    We have spoken to the client ***** on two different occasions and we have explained the process for filing a claim.  We explained that she had to fill out the claim completely which she didn't , she had missing information.  We sent her an email which is time stamped clearly explaining to her that we needed pictures that were detailed of the damaged pieces she was claiming.  We did NOT receive all of the pictures and the form was not complete.  We resend her an email letting her know that her claim form as incomplete and that the pictures were not enclosed in her correspondence.  She then re-submitted the information required but some of the weights seems to be incorrect, she claims that her china cabinet weights ***** lbs she is definitely not correct.  The average weight of a china cabinet is between 250 and 300 lbs. We believe that the information she provided is not correct.  We told her that we would have to send someone out to review the information and review the pictures considering her information is clearly not correct.  We also explained that if typically takes 45 to 60 days to settle a claim from the time that we receive the CORRECT information. 

    We believe that we have answered all of the clients questions and now just need to clarify the incorrect information that she is providing.

    Movers moved approximately 25 items on May 24th from ******** to **************. Amazingly they damaged basically everything they touched I'm not so concerned about the scratches on the walls pretty much every corner they went around they damage on a freshly painted house all the baseboards and a light fixture shattered when they hit it. What concerns me is the damage to some of my major items. The refrigerator handle mounts were bent and pushed in which is unfixable and the unit no longer functions we have a motorized couch that is cracked at the frame and the cloth torn off of the sides we have a desk that literally fell apart they arrested it against the wall after breaking it when we laid it on its legs it collapsed we also have an entertainment center that they attempted to tape and fix and then again when moving it it fell apart. We have scratches on our console tables door and dressers. Fortunately the dressers were already older so I'm not concerned about that I'm more concerned about the refrigerator the power sofa and the entertainment center and desk these items need to be replaced I have been attempting to contact the company for 5 days straight they refusing to send me a claim form if contacted them one more time and we'll be sending them a certified letter noting that we want the claim form when they refuse to do that we will be falling out complaint with the department of public safety as well as pursuing claims in court do not use this company they are completely ridiculous the worst company I've ever encountered. As far as the charges go they charge just $1,000 to do the move but then when we ran an hour over they charged us an additional $600 and sent one of the guys home I can't figure out why that is. It will cost me easily $1,000 to repair the fridge and another **** to replace the additional broken items which are unrepairable I would settle for $3,000 or just simply refunding my money because the move was extremely destructive.

    We have already sent the claim to this customer and he has returned the claim form, the claim form was rejected because he did not provide all the pictures of the damages that he is claiming.  We asked him to please send in all the pictures, and still he has not sent all of the pictures, he has only sent some of them.  He needs to fill out he claim form completely and send the complete pictures that identify each damage.  Once the he does this our claims department will be able to process his claim.  Also his bill is correct he was NOT charged an additional $600.00.  his total cost for the move was $1430.31 of which he had already given a $100.00 deposit, he then paid the balance of $1330.31.

    On todays date 17 MAR 2023.My wife and I scheduled a move with the mentioned company in advance, hoping to ease this process into our new home with less stress while I was traveling for business. I was informed of the first issue from my wife, she stated that a hole had been made in the house we were vacating during the packing/ loading phase of the morning, and that as the day went on, the crew of only 2 were starting to slow down on the packing process and sort of meandering while working. All while we were being charged an original price of 120 USD per 1 hour. Beginning at 10:00 am when they arrived.My wife noticed this first change around 3:00PM, roughly 5 hours into the 8 we were told the company could achieve the goal of packing our house in. Shortly after she attempted to contact the owner of this company Mr. ****************** He constantly interrupted my wife accused her of lying about the damages done. Having not spoken to his employees at all, the question remains how he came to the conclusion. after rudely accusing my wife of lying about the property damage done, the crew later broke my 65 inch TLC ******** After doing so nothing was reported not mentioned, and when we spoke to ***************** afterwards, he said he would charge us if we DIDNT file a claim. He also charged us extra despite his employees causing over 700 dollars in damage.and told us if we wanted our stuff unloaded then we would pay in advance. There are other people reviewing this company on ****** and the experience sounds similar. This company strongarms and cons people out of money after being promised a job for a price. They have cost me my security deposit on the house I was renting, a new television, and a patch for a wall to a house I no longer live in. This company is rude, unprofessional, and lowSomething needs to be said. Something needs to be done.I would like my money back as well as the money to replace my ruined items.

    I hired this company for a local move (11 miles from pt. A to B) after engaging with a "provider matching" service. I received multiple quotes after doing full "remote walkthroughs" from multiple companies and given my needs, I chose A&C Brothers. One of my main requirements were that the beds and furniture would be disassembled and reassembled at the new house as I am unable. Three movers and a relatively small truck arrived and considering I was moving from a **** sq ft two story house I was concerned. One of the movers mentioned that the truck they had was broken and they therefore had to rent this current one. The crew seemed to be doing well for the first hour or so but then things began to crumble. There were chunks taken out of paint on walls, stair rails, scratches on doorways and across walls and even the ceiling. The small truck was filled quickly and a first trip had to be made with the load. I arrived back to the first house within 20 min and had to wait another 45 for the crew to return. I called the business to ask where they were and they too were unaware. They continued the loading, again without protecting. Wood and file cabinets etc wrappedwith tape rather than protective materials. When the second load arrived to the new house we were at the six hour **** that had been expected and it was now 5 pm. My items were held hostage on the truck and I was told I would need to pay with CC an additional $1200 to continue. If I wanted my things I had no options but to pay. They charged my card 3 times and there was a bit of time to correct this. Only one of the beds was somewhat put back together. The other two were left in pieces one of which all slats were broken by the crew. Almost every large item had been damaged in one way or another. I have filed a claim and have been given the runaround for going on 2 months now. A claim "adjustor" was scheduled to arrive today and no show. This is a horrible company and takes no responsibility.

    We do apologize for the damaged pieces, our claim department is working on your claim right now.  We had schedule an inspector to go out and inspect the furniture that you are claiming was damaged.  The inspector tried calling you and no response for the day of the appointment.

    At this time we will be working with the information provided from you some of the weights are completely off like the slats on the bed, those indicate a very high weight of 200 lbs.  bed slats do not weight 200 lbs.  So the claims department is questioning the integrity of the information provided.

    We can estimate the weights for you based on the average weigh of a given piece, unless you have documentation item number for the piece from the furniture store they would be able to give you the actual weight.

    Also, we need you to submit all pictures the claim form you submitted only has 1 picture and that is the bookshelf, which weights any way from 50 to 80 lbs. You are indicating that it weight 250 lbs.  this is not correct therefore not valid.

    You can resubmit your claim with the correct information along with all the pictures that correspond with the damage.

    The owner of this business is providing completely inaccurate responses. Nobody ever reached out to me to confirm the inspection nor did anybody arrive or attempt to contact in any way whatsoever leading up to or on the scheduled day of the visit. After numerous attempts to move the claim process forward with the business owner, Art, I finally was able to get him to commit to a day for the inspector to come out. That date was February 2 at 1 PM. As mentioned, this came directly from Art scheduling and I was never contacted between the date we scheduled this inspection and February 2 at 1 PM. At the point when nobody showed up, I then took the next step which was to file this complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Additionally, the business owner is attempting to claim that my information is inaccurate and does not look on the up and up by referencing bookshelves that HE does not believe weigh 200 pounds. I have two matching solid wood vintage bookshelves that DO weigh much more than an average bookshelf. This could very easily have been clarified, had an inspector shown up when they were scheduled to do so. Secondly, I am aware that bed slats do not weigh 200 pounds, but I was providing the weight of the entire bed. There were no instructions, indicating how to individually weigh out items.  Finally, the business owner is claiming that he does not have photos of the damaged items. Not only did I send them to him directly in an email which I have screenshots of but I also posted them in the complaint here on the Better Business Bureau website. He should be able to view the photos in one of these places. Im hearing a lot of noise and excuses from this business owner Which, based on the other reports and reviews on him, and his business, I am not surprised.
