I contacted ****'s to repair my Maytag washer which was making a horrible noise. I was referred to them by a local Maytag store since my washer was out of warranty. ***** came out and lifted up my washer and looked at the bottom after he had run some diagnostics. There was oil on the bottom. ******************* a diagram of the issue and then gave me the bad news that the parts and service hours would cost more than a new washer. I then asked ***** if their store also worked on refrigerators. I have a GE. He said yes and then did 3 things that impressed me. First he adjusted the front wheels since we were unable to pull the refrigerator out of the cutout in the kitchen. Then he pulled out the refrigerator and vacuumed the coils. There was water from melted ice under the refrigerator, so he pulled out a towel and mopped it up. Lastly, he adjusted the main shelf so that my drawers worked again. All of this was included in the original service call. ***** was polite and efficient. I would request him again.Review from Tim D.

Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid sent Dino's to fix our brand new Kitchen Aid refrigerator. It was professionally installed, but Dino's said the 1/4" line to the ice maker was to small, and then left. At my expense, the line was increased to 5/8th" line and recalled Kitchen Aid to get the refrigerator fixed, since it still did not work. They arranged for Dino's to come out again. Today, they cancelled the appointment and hung up on me on the phone, after being very rude. I then called Kitchen Aid again, and they told me they had to depend on Dino's no matter what they said (Even though we were on the line together, Dino's Kitchen Aid, and myself) they lied to Kitchen Aid. They are not reputable, and rude to us older folks.

In regards to the unhappy customers review, unfortunately any plumbing going to the the appliance is not covered under the warranty. We actually did the customer a favor by diagnosing something we would not get paid for and did not charge the customer. The water lines from the home to the appliance is not the appliance servicers responsibility. Being rude is not in our standings as a family owned service company and we strive to help our customers as much as we can.Customer Response

I regret that Dino's Appliance is mistaken. Existing plumbing was in accordance with Whirlpool Appliance standards as printed in their specifications. The Refrigerator was professionally installed by our local retailer. Upon Dino's appearance at our home to repair the icemaker. They said the installation was the problem and left our home. The retail establishment resent out the same installers, who repeated that it was a correct installation and reported such to the Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid call center. After a call to the ************** center again, they reported to me that they were sending out Dino's Appliance Repair again to look into the problem, and they made the appointment with Dino's for the return visit. On the day of the appointment, I called Dino's to confirm the appointment and the time they would be there. The person answering the phone gave me the 'what for and what not', was rude and told me they were not going to be at my house for the appointment. I called the Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid call center to report this incidence. The call center told me Dino's was an important part of their organization, and that was that.
