I'm making complaint against Concordia legal advisors. I spoke on the company ***** but my complaint is against Concordia..I started my contract back in February paid them ****** every month up until June. nothing was ever done not one creditor had been settled every time I would call I was told they're working on it.that I had to bill up an account to have something to offer. but where in the helk did my money go? not even one account had been settled all they told me was it went toward legal services. They don't tell u that in they beginning.I was told once they receive your first payment they start working with your creditors. after all that Bull I 've had enough so after paying ****** for 4 months I decided to cancel my account. let me remind u not one account had been settled then they had the nerve to refund me only 464+ .call asking for my refund all they will do is try talking over u. Concordia Legal Advisors are a joke. They told me it would take "a few" months to settle debts with my credit card companies. I agreed to let them help settle my debt in November 2024. It is now June 26, 2025 and they have only settled with ONE out of THREE credit card companies. I called ***** today (one of the 50 missed calls I get every month) to let them know I was working with Concordia... they let me know that Concordia has not even reached out to them.... EIGHT MONTHS!!!! Eight months and they have not even contacted *****!!!!! The last call I had with Concordia, I specifically asked them where they were at with ***** and he told me they had reached out and were in talks with them. ****, LIES, LIES. This company is not out for your best interests, they hire people to answer and call you on the phone that you CANNOT understand- the phone call breaks in and out, the accents are thick.... you cannot understand and they are asking you questions "yes", "no", "do you understand" to verify information, you're agreeing to things you can't understand!!!!! This can't be legal. This is all probably part of their plan. GO BACK IN YOUR RECORDINGS AND FIND THE ONES WHERE YOU LIED TO ME. They also told me my credit score would NOT BE AFFECTED VERY MUCH...My credit score is deplorable after agreeing to work with them it dropped 200 points!!!! How much can you get away with? I could have and CAN handle my accounts in a way better manner than they have. I could have had 1/2 my debt paid off by now. As of right now my agreement with them is for about $25,000, they have $4000 of my money and I would like to cancel all other CC companies that they have not contacted yet.Business Response

I contracted with ******************** and Concordia Legal advisors at the end of December 2024. I agreed to have them help me settle debt. I was lied to from SilverLake about how they were going to go about handling the debt. They told me half truths. I specifically asked questions such as how long will it take to settle my debt and get my credit back up to where it should be. To which they replied 3 to 6 months. They did not explain to me that they were going to settle each account one by one and only after I built funds back up into the account and they would take their fees after just settling one account then wiping my account back to zero. I paid $1500 immediately in January only for them to make $100 payment per month to one account, but yet they get their fees right away. I feel I was intentionally misled and not thoroughly explained that they were going have to start all over building up funds each time after they took their fees! I signed December 28, 2024 and they have only settled one account! My accounts should not have grown! I have been repeatedly told they were working on my accounts, and even been asked for more money. This has ruined my credit worse than it was when I started the program and they have not helped me by settling one at a time and taking thousands of dollars in fees and waiting again till I had thousands of dollars in my account before they settle another account. I want them to settle ALL of my accounts and make payments on ALL of my accounts immediately. I have been more than upfront with them and paying them timely. The one account they settled theyre only paying 100 bucks a month to yet I make a $732 a month payment to them. What are they waiting on? They need to settle these accounts so they stop growing as I was told they would do so my credit can be repaired and start going up! they have done worse to my credit than I couldve done by making minimum payments. All of My accounts need to be settled immediately.Business Response

Called on 4/14/25 to cancel payment. Was told I need to call 2 business days but a refund would be requested. Called again on 4/16 & was told the funds were pending but a request for refund was entered. Called again on 4/28 & was told my account would be forwarded for further investigation. Monies were transfered on 4/24/25, even after the bankruptcy was filed and today I'm being told they can't refund me bc the monies were already processed.Business Response

I entered into a contract with Concordia whom I thought would help consolidate my payments. At the time I had no late fees on my credit report nor was my credit score bad. I was advised not to make any further payments to my creditor as the payment that I made to Concordia would go directly to my creditors. I was harassed by my creditors, received 30 day late payments and my credit score was impacted negatively. I have cancelled the contract with Concordia over 3 weeks ago, was told by multiple representatives a different processing time every time in re to processing the cancellation request. I am now on week 3 with no refund. This company scammed me out our money, failed to settle with my creditors, took my money and NEVER paid my creditors and caused my GOOD credit to turn bad. I want my full refund as this company has done nothing but cause major issues and failed to live up to their obligation. I suggest anyone who is looking to do debt consolidation, that you look further than this company bc it will negatively impact everything you worked hard to do.Business Response

On 11/25, I spoke with an agent, Mr. ******* We reviewed the contract and I e-signed the documents. As he was talking I was listening intently, after he spoke of some credit matters that I was not comfortable with, he said we had one last matter to take care of. He stated that I needed to speak with compliance and record the conversation. I promptly hung up the phone. Immediately, I downloaded the document in the contract that allowed me to cancel my relationship with them. The email information that was provided was not active and the attached document was not able to be received by them. At this time, I do not wish to engage this company because they are not what I thought they were and the mere fact that I have to pay them to end relationships with everyone of my creditors does not do me any good. I desire to not have this company contact any of my creditors and have advised my bank to not honor any drafts from them and my creditor's to not engage them in any manner, on my behalf. I have also made Mr. ****** aware of my desire to end any relationship with the firm. The only respond I have had, to this date, was text message from Mr. ******************** after sending the attached document on 11/28, which was, "Yes. Please call me back directly at (number shown) so I can go over this with you. Which I replied to with; "No need. That document should represent my desires". I was contacted by the company and lied to so I would terminate with a different debt relief and instead do business with them. After about 2 months of being harassed by the companies I owed, I decided to remove myself from the program and work on everything myself. I requested a refund and to be removed, and a month later, they are still trying to contact me to go over my account and still no refund. Did the same thing with my husband's debt relief with freedom debt relief and received his refund within days while I am still waiting on mine and still getting unwanted calls.Business Response
