      Later part of OCT a guy from D&L came out to look at a leak i had in my Drip system. told me it would cost 700 to fix the leak and it would be better to replace the drip system . He said it would take all day long and they would need to water blast under several sidewalks and the cost would be $2,000. I am a senior citizen and that is a lot of money but he kept telling me it was cheaper than keep calling someone to repair leaks. SO I said yes.On Nov 1, 2 guys and a ******* showed up. at 7:30, By 10:30 they said the work was done and they were gone. I had my son check the work and there are no water flow restrictors on any of the hoses, one of the bushes in the back yard does have a drip hose and neither does my palm tree. When i called them and told them i didn't think the work was worth the 2 thousand , i was told too bad. You agreed to it. I feel they are taking advantage of senior citizens and that should not be allowed. with an 8 hour job at $2,000 that is 250 an hour, for a 3 hour job at 250 an hour it should be closer to $750.

      Our first visit revealed an old drip system poor condition with multiple obstacles hampering leak repair. Our repair quote was within our normal pricing considering site conditions. Per standard diligence we offered the option to replace her system and not invest money in an old system. It was up to HER whether or not to proceed with repair or replacement. We quoted a fair price for the replacement within our NORMAL PRICING FOR THIS TYPE OF PROJECT.The fact that shes a senior citizen is IRRELEVANT. We gave her the same quote we give anyone else for the same project. It was up to HER whether or not to accept or reject the quote she ACCEPTED it. It was up to HER to research pricing for this type of project. Our pricing is in line with all of our competitors we did NOT over charge her. It was up to HER to get quotes from other companies,if she found someone cheaper she was free to choose them for the work. We do not charge an hourly rate for installs. They are quoted based on many factors including size of property, how many zones, how many plants, trees, how many workers we need, etc. What she THINKS the job should cost is HER OPINION. She is not an expert in this field and does not run her own business. We met all of our obligations for the money paid. We are *********** hire as many people as needed to get the job done as slowly or as quickly as we choose within the time frame quoted. We had multiple techs and workers on site. The job was completed in good faith, done properly and according to the quote given. We do NOT take advantage of senior citizens and RESENT the accusation. She completed a walk-through with us at the end of her install and SIGNED THE INVOICE APPROVING the work. After she signed off on the completed job, we went back to her property AT NO CHARGE and completed a second walk-through with her to show her that everything is working fine. WE HAVE AN AUDIO FILE OF THE VISIT. We will NOT be bullied by someone trying to disparage our good reputation
