I have repeatedly tried to contact anyone about my claim and I'm getting no response.I have provided everything she asked me to in a email and I left it on voice-mail as well. What is the point in paying for this extra insurance if it cannot be used when it is needed. Does the company I work for realize that their employees are getting this kind of bad service that they are paying for? What is the issue? This is not very business like.

Doctor filled out paperwork, matrix doesnt receive, back and forth rabbit hole of lies. Didnt receive payment, was out 6 weeks with knee surgery. Not fair for anyone that works for a living to be thrown into this type of business. Sad thing is, no one will help, the doctor could be lying about filling or sending the paperwork out, or case worker might not care.

Currently on MONTH FOUR of getting what should be an uncomplicated, very clear *** claim settled. My spouse was recently found to have a permanent disability and a terminal diagnosis. I have gotten a COMPLETE stall/runaround from Matrix despite them having all relevant medical and employment info. Communication with our representative is impossible. I am routed directly to voicemail every time and repeated (I am talking dozens) email inquiries go unanswered. Given the stress my spouse and I are already going through, what I can now only view as deliberate silence and stonewalling from Matrix is completely unacceptable. Just an awful experience and still no approval yet.

My experience was horrible. My initial claim for STD benefits for additional 8 weeks was denied after the appeal of the decision wasreversed. Then, my healthcare providers suggested a 4 week extension, and my STD benefits were denied. The biggest issue was when my denial letter was sent, it included someone else's profile summary. I sent an email detailing my concern and was assured none of my personal information was shared with anyone. Why would I trust it? Then the time-consuming task of writing an appeal with a 45 day review time frame only for them to have an external reviewer take an additional 30 days to review. My apoeal was denied. Then I initiated my 2nd appeal with the same 45 day period and another reviewer with adding 30 days. My income was denied from November 1- December 8 and in May 23rd to receive communication they were upholding the original decision. I am no longer with the employer and do not believe this company provides an impartial snd fairr ruling. It should not take 6 months to review documentation and spend time and resources to send to another reviewer. This company is a causing unnecessary stress when they hold the authority to rule on someone's finances. No company should be at liberty to quantify mental wellness. There should be a fine for attaching another client's profile in my denial letter and then strongly enforcing the mandate of sharing personal information.

I had a frustrating experience with Matrix Absence Management regarding my leave payment from January 2024. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never received the checks they claimed to have sent. My case agent, ******* ****** and her manager, ***** ******** assured me that two payments were issued, but they never arrived. After reporting the issue, I was told to complete and return an affidavit form before they could investigate further. I did as instructed, yet after my last email in September 2024, there was no resolution or further communication.Dealing with a company that handles critical leave payments should not be this difficult. The lack of responsiveness and accountability has been extremely disappointing!!!Its February 2025, I will keep emailing them until I get my checks.

I could give this company a zero I would. Ive spent the last two years in and out of the hospital and doctors appointments with my husband who May 2024 of an extremely rare disease. He was hospitalized for one month and he suffered tremendously and I watched him suffer and die. Youwanna talk trauma thats trauma fast-forward When Im trying to get time off so that I can heal and process the trauma and go through therapy in this effing company put through h*** In a nutshell, they added to my trauma and tripled it. I was jumping through hoops, trying to get documents. They were claiming that never received the documents from my therapist, which they did. It got so bad and I was so traumatized that I literally decided to go back to work in a nutshell, they are the worst of theworst and quite frankly should not even be in business.

The Matrix reliance , is a joke. Been out on injury since June of 2024 , received 1 month of my compensation that I pay for . The company canceled me with no notice , been jumping through all the hoops to provide documents . I am injured and should be focusing on healing but how can one do that when they shut you off therefore you can't afford your dr ****** nor have money to survive. I have had 4 different clame **** in 5 months nobody does what they say they are a bunch of theives. Than when you do contact them they like to play the game we will call you back on such and such a date and never hear from them. My savings is depleted, my lively hood is on the line and they think it's funny to mess with someone's being like they do is way way out of line. I have worked since I have been 14 years old and this company is the worst company I have ever dealt with ever. I can understand of there is tech issues and people being out for reasions, but I am also out of work injured , waiting on my back dispersments that are owed to me now for 4 months back. It's not that hard to hit the button that says ACH payment, and hit enter so the ******* can receive their benefits , make appointments with drs so they can get better to head back to their job instead of holding their benefits hostage and making the clament feel helpless during their recovery peroid. Yet once again big company keeping the small guy/ woman down. I wonder how the CEO, would feel if they had to go through what myself and many other are , with the bulls$%#. I am almost at my whitts end can't keep accruing medical bills with no benefits coming in , therefore can't get better if one can not afford to make the co pays and the prescriptions . This company is a joke a big joke , they take your money but refuse to fix their f@#$ ****

Matrix is the worst company *** ever dealt with in my entire working life. I am having the same issue right now trying to get a hold of my worker and there has been zero communications on her end and as well as supervisors end..I have called left repeatedly voicemail messages and emails. Still no response with anyone. Sadly to say how does this company stay in business doing the same repeated thing to consumers and their businesses? What is it going to take to get this company shutdown? We pay our hard earn money just in case something may happen to us for protection and yet instead we are treated like we are criminals. This company got to be stop and I mean real quick. Playing with consumers money and messing with our emotions. A lawsuit is definitely needed for these situations and its time to start as of today. Im so sick of being mistreated and we are the ones keeping their business afloat and thats why they still have a job. I was wondering how can the owner and management let this happen? They are so unprofessional and very disrespectful for not returning emails or calls. I wish I could have gave negative star rating because the certainly dont deserve a 1 star.

The services are horrible, staff barely communicate back. They rush you to give dates when sometimes you don't have for sure answers for at the moment. You have to give all your personal health information as ******* takes almost the time to return back to work to receive pay and bills get behind and some face Eviction they don't care. Matrix works with companies to set you up as if you not trying to show for work. If someone is in hospitals and doctors don't want to give false information before they know what's going on they pressure you for paperwork. If ZERO stars was a option definitely would be my choice. You constantly get voicemails of people who supposed to help you.......

This company is a fraud! Before accepting a job offer, make sure to inquire if they use Matrix Absence Management. They will withhold part of your pay and its extremely difficult to contact anyone. Their responses are deceptive, and they may pretend not to understand your concerns. *********************, a manager, does not return calls, and *********************, a claims supervisor, also fails to answer calls. They do not respond to emails either. The entire operation is dishonest. Avoid this company at all cost.
