      I am so glad I called Hospice of the Valley the day that my mother went to the emergency room for the second time in the week. They came over and evaluated my mother and placed her on hospice that day. They took her off medication which was causing her to go to the emergency room and my mother started improving. My mother enjoyed the visits from *******, her nurse, and she looked forward to them each week. ******* listened to my mother. *****, *****, and *******, were the CNAs that helped mom take a shower safely. After a year my mother declined rapidly. ******* and other hospice nurses made sure that she was in no pain. ****, the chaplain, came and prayed with mom and myself. When mom passed away, *** called the funeral home for us. All throughout the year I saw so much compassion for my mother, and myself, from the nurses, CNAs, Social worker and chaplain. I highly recommend Hospice of the Valley. I am so thankful that they were there for my mom. She was in no pain when she peacefully passed away . Thank you all.
