    Back on 6/21/2022 we filed a claim with our home warranty company about our air conditioning unit no longer working on one side of our home. We paid the $75 fee for them to send out Sun Tech air to diagnose the problem. After coming out, Sun Tech determined we needed a whole new unit and the unit we had was unrepairable. We agreed and started the process of getting a new air conditioning unit. On 7/18/22 Sun Tech returned to do the installation of the new unit. We were told the unit was hooked up correctly and running as expected, however, the stand the unit was placed on was not the correct size and to fix the issue the technician attached the stand to a 2x4 piece of wood which was then attached to our roof. He told us Sun Tech would be contacting us about a new correct, stand in the coming days. We were never contacted about the new stand, however, were emailed twice in the coming months about paying the remaining balance. When I would get those emails I would call Sun Tech asking about the new stand they said they were ordering it and would call when it was in so they could install it. Fast forward to 11/28/22, we noticed our heater was not working for the new unit. Again reached out to OneGuard home warranty, paid $75, and they sent out a new company to check the issue. The new company came out on 12/08 and told us that the installation for SunTech was poorly done and he could not help. The unit was slanted on the roof now, wood was decomposing, and our gas line was not even connected to the unit with a possible gas line leak. One Guard reached out to SunTech since it was their error and on 12/14 they came to attach the gas line correctly to get the heat on. When they came the tech informed us the employee who installed our unit originally no longer works for the company. We were told they would contact about new stand but we have yet to hear a follow up on the issue. OneGuard has been notified and Ive attempted to call suntech numerous times.
