Positive Air (****) company service about five homes. When ****** repaired some of my units, he manually turned off the switch to the heaters on two homes. The maintenance on the units was completed in the summer, totaling over $8,000 plus. Fast forward to winter: on two of the homes the heater was manually shut off and ****** with Positive Air was the ONLY one who was maintaining the **** systems at these homes. On two of the homes the tenants could not get heat. ****** went out to both homes and he found that the heater was in the "OFF" position. The only way to put the heater in "OFF" position was to manually flip switch to this position. Again, Owner ****** with Positive Air was the only person maintaining these units. ****** went out to both homes and reported that he manually flipped switch to both heaters to "ON" position and proceeded to charge me $75 for each call despite the fact that he is the one who flipped both heaters to "OFF" position during routine service maintenance the summer preceding this winter. Positive Air, I believe, upcharges his customers for unnecessary and/or avoidable service calls such as this case. Secondly, Positive Air also repairs systems and does not provide options to the customer. For example, two of the repairs on the system were almost the cost of a brand-new air conditioner, which I would have bought, IF ****** had told me beforehand the expected costs of the repair. Instead, he proceeded to repair the a/c's then said, "Yes, they are old." Instead of repairing two the a/c units I would have rather purchased new a/c units instead of sinking a lot of money into older a/c units, which most likely will have to be replaced in a few years anyway. Rather than suggest a new a/c unit, he fixed and repaired two a/c units that theoretically should have been replaced for the cost of the repairs ****** charged me. Positive Air is a relatively new company and a one-man operation with poor customer communication and service.
