I have been slowly moving my money to a different credit union. This credit union has been going downhill since I signed up with them. I have been highly disappointed with their customer service. They do not honor what their commercials or ads say. I am much happier at OneAZ.Review from Judith S

I am very disgusted with desert financial. Several times people have used my card to pay for something. My card is never away from me but they normally resolve my problem. They have to close the debit card part of my account until I got a new card. This weekend someone got me for $274.20. My debit card was canceled and I asked to get a new one at the window but I have to go inside to do it or wait a week or 10 days to have it mailed. Ive been sick all fall and cant walk much. Ive been a customer for over 25 years with good standing. Goes to show that their customers mean nothing to them. I can drive but I cant walk much. Luckily I have removed the bulk of my money and invested it someplace else. They would expedite a card to me for $20. I am truly the victim here but they do not care. I have been a member for over 15 years, but after today, I am closing my account. **************** has diminished at this *********************************************, and I feel like I'm just a number, not a member. They couldn't care less if I remain a member, so I am going to close my checking and savings accounts in the morning.Review from Cristina H

I banked with this company for 20+ years, being a loyal customer and even opening a ********************** card with them. Unfortunately I was a victim of a scam. When I went to the bank to see what they could do to help, they simply told me it was my fault and I was responsible for the negative balance in my account (*****). Although I was upset, eventually I called down and asked if we could set up a payment plan. I had $1000 in my other accounts(for bills and Christmas) and essentially they said ef your payment plan, we will take what little money you have to bring your account current. So they basically didnt give me a choice, took the other money and said I owed $450. I closed my account with them because I dont want to be associated with a bank that is not customer centered and willing to work with a loyal customer for 20+ years. When they went from Desert schools to desert financial, they became trash.Review from Mary W

This is the worst, most incompetent financial institution I have ever encountered. My wallet was stolen and I went to them to change everything and they screwed everything up so bad my social security check was lost, a check bounced and they told me to call SS and ask for a paper check. Needless to say, I had a melt down. They are a joke for sure. They would receive a 0 if it was an option.Review from Jessica A

Desert financial bill pay takes over three weeks for the payment to be made and I ended up with late payments They use a third party that mails the checks They lie about electronic bill pay when the back office third party does all the work manuallyReview from Taquesha P

Ive Been DFC Since February Of 2023 And Time And Time Again Its Something Up. They Charge You More Than What Has Been Decided Upon When First Coming With Them. When Paying My Nite This Time It Was Done On Time I Wake Up The Next Day My Car Is Shut Off. I Call To Talk To Them An They Say Its Because I Owe A $75 Remaning Balance Which Is Why My Car Was Shut Off. Yet When I Went To Pay It Online I Doesnt Give You The Choice If Paying Anything Lower Then What You Owe. So Now My Car Is Off. Deceptive advertising and data collection scam.*************************************************************************************************************************************************************** The promotion does not inform the member that they must be an *** student until after they have entered their personal information. Upon creating an account, the website declines the user submission. Wasted energy driving to the bank twice because the first time they did not have their system set up to fulfill the promotion even though its terms say to create an account online, by phone, or in person. They could have mentioned *** affiliation was required, but staff was not trained properly. If they are hiding the *** student requirement because of a vulnerability, then I suggest accidentally saying you are a student when creating the account.
