10/8/2024 - Received a call from Midway Processing Group/Midway Mitigation about a loan that I took out in 2017. Says it is from Web Cash and they can not tell me who the original Lender is. Says that are going to garnish my wages, take this to court, take over my bank accounts or even revoke by drivers license.Initial Complaint

This debt collector keeps harassing me regarding a debt for a loan originally from Allied Cash Advance here in *******************, I am working with the current debt holder and making monthly payments for this debt already. I have asked Midway Processing group to stop contacting me regarding this debt 3 times over the phone. I have a voicemail saved with more information as well if that helps. Person calling me stating I owe money for a payday loan and they are going to garnish my check and mess up my credit for 7 years. Very rude. I told him this is a scam as I have not done a payday loan. He said good luck and hung up. He has tried calling my son also. After reading the previous complaints, something needs to be done asap!!He cannot answer any of my questions when I ask about this payday loan. He is threatening and this is illegal. I received a call from *************************, very difficult to understand him. I had to request he spell out certain words, because I couldn't understand him. he claims I took a loan from Plainview or Plaingreen, I could not understand him, total loan $2435. This loan was taken in 01/14/2019 when i was employeed by Interstate. I haven't worked for Interstate for years. He would not provide the bank account information this was sent to. I informed him my identity was stolen in 2017. This was a fraudulent loan. ****** claimed I was still liable and since it was my name and SS # attached to loan. He would not provide any information to me and transferred me to his supervisor who stated If I didn't pay it would be sent to court. I explained to supervisor this was a fraudulent loan. Supervisor stated to stop wasting his time, he was going to send it to court and I could settle it then.Initial Complaint

I received a message from my son that Midway Processing called him looking to reach me. He gave me a number to call back. I called them and they immediately answered with am I speaking with ********************* last 4 digits of SS#. The agent told me that they were calling to have me to pay a back a debt that I owed. The agent told me that it was from ******** I informed him that I had no debt from ******* and I asked him to tell me what the original debt from. He could not tell me and he transferred me to his supervisor who kept up saying they were going to take me to court and I kept asking for the original debtor and he switch back and forth from TDbank and a cash advance company. I told him that I wanted to see the original debt and he said he could not see it so he had to transfer me to his legal department. This guy named ***** continued to tell me that he wanted me to agree to this debt. He then told me it was not from TDBAnk but from a company called Fast Cash. Total 1475. He was talking about statue of limitations but the federal government allows them to collect this debt. Unfortunately I panicked and give him a cc number. The emailed me a really basic form showing the agreement with no information concerning this debt. I signed it electronically and after the call I realized that I may have just been scammed. I am closing out my cc so that no debits can be debited until they can prove the debt is mine. Their tactics were extremely harassing. Unsure where I go from here. I still have no idea what this debt is or if I really owe it. I have no such debt on my credit report. What concerns me that they told me that the company sent me letters and closed the debt in 2022, gave me my address and knew that I had worked at TDBANK which was well over 7 years ago.Initial Complaint

On April 25, 2024, I received a call from *********************** working for Midway. He said I owe a company called FastCash for a loan I received more than *********************************************************************************************************************************** When I started asking for dates and about the next steps, he did not hesitate to get off the phone.
